HazelParticipantLet’s just assume we cannot change rosters this summer other than signing free agents to fill them out. Who do you think has the best roster to complement LeBron’s game for the next 5-10 yrs? Baskeball rosters only, but must have cap space. City and likelyhood of signing out the window. My Picks:
1- Jazz: Talent at every position they will get better as LeBron ages. Tons of future picks. 4-5 guys with the talent to be 2nd-4th option on championship team. Exum with ceiling to take over #1 in 3-4 yrs. Tons of cap space. Shooters at every position as well. Slashers on the wing and excellent defensive potential. New smart coach.
2- Bucks: Jabari, Greek freek, LeBron talk about a crazy 2,3,4 combo. That is sort of like Pippen and Camelo around you but a decade younger than you. Great upside on the downside of his career. Sanders, Hensen long defenders, Ilyasova stretches the floor B Knight a great fit at PG as he is a combo-type who can defend. New coach who Lebron already knows well.
3- Phoenix: Guard-line that would take a ton of offensive and defensive pressure of Lebron. He would no longer be the best on-ball defender on his team for the first time…ever. Shooters everywhere, young guys and a servicible big. Warren could add bench scoring when LeBron rests. Really like the Morris twins fit next to Lebron. Could go utlra fast with Morris Twins Lebron and Dragic Bledsoenobody can catch them. Great new coach.
4- Cleveland: Kyrie, Wiggins, talented young guys he coudl help reach potential. Bennet would compliment well with shooting and versatility. The problem lies in Kyrie’s health and the question about how he plays without the ball (Defense included), but crazy upside with Kyrie and Wiggins. Wiggins could be Pippen for now, take over down the road. Lots of questions about wether the PF/C position will pan out. New coach don’t know if he will be good or not.
Honerable mention:
Magic, Phily. Both have lots of young athletes, but not much shooting. Phily 2-3 years away from even having the team on the court.
I like the idea of taking a team like that from nowhere to contender and then having the players to make the back end of his career full of promise.
I know Jazz and Bucks are a pipe dream, but…it’s okay to dream here right?
What do you think?

nill650ParticipantIf James wants to contend for a title in 14-15 he should stay in miami again provided riley can actually give him any help beyond next season.
Maybe he’ll continue his title chasing and team up with kobe and melo in LA.
If he wants to be the lead dog on a up and coming roster (instead of an old one like he’s on) that is loaded with superstar potential with the chance at winning rings from 2014-15 and beyond and a team that now has a proven winning coach(in europe) for once; he will return to the cavs.
the fareweather fans in miami won’t burn his jerseys. Cleveland makes the most sense longterm.
