Ivica Zubac is set to become a restricted free agent on July 1st, according to Shams Charania of the The Athletic. The report states that the Los Angeles Clippers extended a qualifying offer to the 22-year-old Croatian big of 1,931,189 dollars.

Zubac was the 32nd pick of the 2016 NBA draft. He moved from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Clippers via trade last February. He since averaged 9.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per Regular Season contest and followed up with 5 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Playoffs.

By making him a restricted free agent, the Clippers will be able to match any NBA offer he accepts, in order to keep him in their squad. The market for all free agents will open on July 1st.

Gasol is 38 and coming off injury. He is desperate to come back and wan to be back with milwaukee – I reckon he would take league minimum. If not milwukee, why not go to toronot with his brother ?

  I never liked that personally. Anywhere in life when you have a group that is trying to reach a buisness goal I find its always best not to bring in family or friends because you cant hold your friends or family accountable the same way you can to a colleague. Unless that freindship was built attempting to accomplish that goal.

Dudley has signed with the Lakers for 2.6.

Green to teh JAzz as mentioned earlier.

Just quietly, Daniel Theis is a nice player, but how are Theis, Looney and Kanter all getting just 5 mil per year? I know Kanter is a head case and cant defend, but he is a problem on offense and can rebound. He was CHEAP.

  I think they are pretty invested in Tony Bradley. Hes looked good when he played and tonight hes off to a good start in Summer League. His body looks completely different he even did a euro step.

Wilson Chandler signs with Brooklyn. Looks to be a decent fit as a small 4 as Brooklyn has done in the past with guys like Carroll and Dudley. They’re currently a bit thin at that position right now, so hopefully he can stay healthy.
