    Here is a trade that I think would make sense for both teams? NO gets cap room and an all-star replacement for Chris Paul. Orlando gets the best possible side kick for Dwight Howard. I know its a long shot but I don’t think its completely unrealistic.

    Paul, Okafor, and Mo Pete

    NO gets
    Vince Carter expiring and Jameer Nelson

      Why would NO go for that? Paul is a top flight player, Nelson is not even close. NO needs to build through the draft and Paul is probably their best bet to attract free agents.

    wont work because the Hornets aren’t getting a future player back. Vinsanity yeah he works because he’s expiring but Nelson doesnt. They have Collison if they trade Paul then Collison is the future point guard and then what would they do with Nelson. He’s 6’0 so he wouldnt be playing shooting guard.

    This would possibly work because hornets dont want to pay the luxery tax, they get a expiring contract and a good player in jameer nelson, draft picks, and the magic will have a great chance of winning the championship.

      DC is on the block and will be the one moved as long as the team trading for him is willing to take the contract of okafor/peja/ posey(to a lesser extent).

      NO has a bad penny pinching owner, but he’s not going to move CP3 and alienate his entire fanbase unless they are blown away by an offer.
