Jokic is going to get punted soon though.. Denver is winning so he survives for now.

Malcolm Brogdon has a good chance of making it as well.

Van Vleet has to be ahead of Graham on the sleeper list. Offensively the two are producing the same numbers but Van Vleet gets 2 steals a game. Raps are also 6 spots higher in the standings.

If I had to pick right now griffin is definitely out. Missed too many games and putting up career low numbers due to mins restriction. Plus there is no way pistons deserve 2 all-stars. I’d put brown over him easily.

I actually agree that Griffin should be out but there are too many guards on the East team.. they still have to pick by positions don’t they? Otherwise, Graham, Brogdon or yes, Van Vleet, I agree are worthy. Dinwiddie could even get a look. I wasn’t sure about Sabonis but I think he’s earned it so far.
In the West, there is usually more debate but I don’t think many would be upset at this lineup. There’s guys like Aldridge and DeRozan but I don’t think anyone else is demanding a position with their play.
My all NBA 1st team right now is Lebron, Harden, Luka, Siakam and Giannis.

    For the east, i dont think that they have too many guards;
    Simmons/ Kemba/
    Young/ Beal/ MIDDELTON
    Pascal/ Tatum/ Butler
    Giannis/ Sabonis
    Embiid/ Drummond

Allstar teams dont have to be optimally constructed, just somewhat as its more an award based on player’s play.
The last spot is really Kyrie’s to lose, but he needs to play atleast 1./2 the games to be eligible.
I give it to Middelton because of the bucks 21-3 record deserves 2 allstars, unless Kyrie plays 1/2 his games.

    For the West;
    Harden/ Lillard/ Westbrook
    Donic/ Mitchell/ Booker
    Kawhi/ George
    Lebron/ KAT
    Davis/ Jokic

    I would say
    East
    Kyrie-Kemba-Simmons-Beal
    Butler-Middleton-Tatum
    Giannis-Siakam-Embiid-Drummond-Sabonis

Great shot for sabonis as an international player, stats, winning team, no dipo.
For the troll aspect, D-Rose was the 2nd guard in the west last year(7th overall), and there’s no Curry, Harden, Westbrook in the east, Kyrie and Rose voted in i guess, it was Wade the 2nd guard last year.
    Newcomers Tatum, Siakam, Sabonis.
Lavine or Rose, a local player in no matter what ?, if beal doesn’t have the fans”s respect, he has it from the players and coaches(leading a depleted team).

    West
    Lebron-AD-Harden-Westbrook-Doncic-Kawhi-PG13-Booker-Jokic-Gobert-KAT-Lillard.

Newcomers Doncic, Booker(most improved team, SOP and stats), Gobert(too much guards for Mitchell and not enough wins for the jazz to have 2 players in, Gobert benefiting from the lack of bigs, DPOY, et vive la france).
For the troll aspect, last year lebron and luka were listed as forwards, luka was 2nd in votes, if one or both are listed as guards, with the luka hype train, Porzingis could be his steve francis…

Getting closer to USA team vs World team Doncic Simmons Giannis Siakam Embiid Jokic KAT Gobert Sabonis(Murray-Wiggins-Porzingis-Rubio or one of the other 40 international front court player).

    No one mentioned Bam ?

Not a pretty pick as he is not a big time scorer, but Miami is doing well this season

    East:
    Giannis/Siakam/Embiid/Kemba/Butler
    Young/Beal/Tatum/Bam/Drummond/Sabonis/Graham

I think Irving would be in normally but if he doesn’t come back soon, he is out of there.

    West:
    LeBron/AD/Kawhi/Doncic/Harden
    Lillard/Westbrook/George/Jokic/Gobert/Mitchell/Booker

And here is the thing with Gobert, when looked at the advanced stats and all of that stuff, Gobert impacts the game in way more ways then a lot of todays stars, he just does it in a non-statistical way. If you watch, a ton of defenders going into the paint, a ton of them panic and attempt some weird looking shots.
