HobbyOGParticipantBradley Beal and D Book didn’t make the all-star teams because there teams suck…this will increase players on bad teams that to team up with other players so they can get appreciated and receive accolades like the all-star team. more super teams in the future..and more really bad teams in the future..Not D Book fault management sucks and can’t put together a good team. The media and fans will bytch about superteams..but this will be the reason..IS this an all-star team or an all-playoff team?

220ParticipantTrae Young got voted on by the fans and the media. If he wasn’t named a starter the coaches, who vote for the bench, likely wouldn’t have voted him to the All Star team.

OhCanada-ParticipantWell Beal has Wall returning next year. Washington would probably be at least 7th seed right now with a healthy Wall and might even be in the mix with the 2-6 spots.
As for Booker I said a while ago that Phoenix shouldve just traded him. He’s a great young player but the Suns were just way too far off from fielding a competitive roster, by the time they are a playoff team he’s gonna be demanding a trade anyways and then his value will be lower. Suns actually showed some life early this season so I might wanna reconsider going that route now .

Scrooge McDuckParticipantIt was the thunder who traded Westbrook. I could see Lillard and Beal staying with their respective teams throughout their primes. You look at players who join superteams and it can alienate relationships.. like Ray Allen. I’m chuckling because Durant did that too

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantBeal, KAT and Booker are really the guys to really keep an eye on, as far as star players who have the potential to become disgruntled with their teams lack of success and request a trade. All of these guys are currently locked into contracts with their current teams for the foreseeable future, but their doesn’t seem to be a realistic path to contention at the moment. We’ve already seen signs of each being disgruntled, and it wouldn’t be shocking if any demands a trade in the next year. I’d keep an eye on the Simmons/embiid dynamic in philly as well. Not sure if it’s sustainable long term and they may be forced to trade one sooner or later.

nill650Participantyeah Young might have made it without the fan vote , but not above others like Beal who is also padding stats is the more rounded guy meaning he plays more than one side of the ball. I though Ja deserved the all star nod as a rookie maybe over cp3 But Lavine was the most surprising snub given he is a Bull.
the rising stars selections are highly situational, for example 2 MJ’s hornet players putting up meh numbers on a treadmill team but because the game is in CHICAGO got in above Sexton from Cleveland who is smoking half the rising stars that got in but is on a bad team and the same goes for a big like Hayes whos highly touted teammate in Zion who hasn’t played at all to speak of got the vote and he didn’t have a justifiable case to be mad.0 -
