OhCanada-Participant6’6 200 pound SG of the 2019 class Addison Patterson chooses Oregon. Currently the youngest player on Team Canada he’s kinda a diamond in the rough in this class but should end up being a very good recruit for the Ducks.

HobbyOGParticipantIf Oregon can keep some of these players to stay 2-3 years they would be tough…

CoachWyersParticipantReal good pickup for Oregon as he should develop into a 1st round pick. Real athletic uptempo wing that has playmaking ability. Could be a point forward type, combo guard, or a tall PG position is really yet to be determined. Needs to work on his jumper and consistency on the defensive end.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantDante (5 stars), chandler lawson, Isaac Johnson, CJ walker. Can someone play Small Forward? Joining Miles Norris, and Francis Okoro, that’s very deep front court. Someone will end up redshirting or transferring. Oregon will also feature Eric Williams, Jr, son of a Boston Celtics player from the 1990s. I don’t really like Pritchard or Will Richardson, so I hope Victor Bailey and Patterson get a lot of minutes at shooting guard.

mikeyvthedonParticipantStill looking like most of the time at SG will go to Chris Duarte (NJCAA Player of the Year at Northwest Florida State) and Anthony Mathis (40%+ 3PT shooter and double digit scorer at New Mexico last two seasons). A lot of line-up versatility, and Patterson will surely get playing time on the wing. Victor Bailey transferred to Tennessee and Miles Norris to UC Santa Barbara.
I like Richardson as a back-up and love the fact Payton Pritchard won’t have to be relied upon to score as much as he was last season, especially after Bol went down. The shooting, defensive energy and scoring prowess should be kicked up a notch.

mikeyvthedonParticipantPossible rotation with scholarship players:
PG Payton Pritchard, Will Richardson
SG Chris Duarte, Anthony Mathis
SF CJ Walker, Addison Patterson
PF Shakur Juiston, Chandler Lawson, Lok Wur
C N’Faly Dante, Francis Okoro
I am guessing it could end up being Pritchard, Mathis, Duarte, Juiston and Dante, with Walker being the first off the bench at big and Patterson on the wing. Either way, the three freshmen (Dante, Walker, Patterson) getting rotation minutes and think one surely will start (guessing that is Dante).
Going from Pritchard, Richardson, Walker, Lawson, Duarte and Okoro to what they have now, am blown away by how the coaching staff rounded out the roster. Not to mention with Eric Williams Jr. and Eugene Omoruyi as sit out transfers.
They have ball handlers, shooters, a possible fantastic small ball line-up and some massive young bigs. Really excited for this team, hoping to get a glimpse soon and get more of a gauge on the starting line-up. The line-up I am probably most excited for is Pritchard, Mathis, Duarte, Walker and Juiston. Plus can plug in Dante at big, Patterson as a wing.
Will be a lot more offensive options this year. Before the crazy close to the season, it was quite up and down. They needed to win the Pac-12 to even make the tournament. Lets hope everyone stays healthy, because this team could be a beast in March if so.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantVictor Bailey is my favorite player from last year. I was also ticked when Altman didn’t play Roman Sorkin. Bailey’s a deadly left handed 3 point shooter. Very questionable as to why Richardson started last year in my opinion. I don’t see that much of a fall off between Bailey, and champ oguchi lol.
