4 team trade…..

I’m not big on 4 team trades cos they never happen, but some of these guys are primed for a move.

I don’t know what the Wiz are doing with Jabari and Portis, Bryant isn’t the answer at 5 and now Wall appears to have signed the best timed deal in the history of the league. They are a mess. So while moving Beal is the talk, moving your best player isn’t usually a good answer for anything. Maybe if they ask for one of Ingram, Ball or Kuzma, #4 and a future first for Beal?

It’s obvious the Lakers are going for major talent any way they can – Kawhi, Boogie, AD, Beal, the names go on. I think they’ll all pass and we’ll end up seeing a relatively minor acquisition plus Melo and Lebron there though. Hope for them they can move the young guys for a big name, but it might be someone like Chris Paul rather than Kawhi.

If Beal were a free agent, I’d say cool. But if they have to give up Ingram, I say no. The right coach would have Ingram shoot six 3’s a game like Beal. Ingram will probably his 37% from 3. Beal’s career average is 38%. Ingram hit 39% his rookie year and hit around that after the All-Star break. He just needs to tame them. 

Beal averaged 25 points. Ingram averaged 23 or so after the break. And he did so with LeBron in the game. Beal was basically alone. 

Bradley Beal is better, for sure. But, how much? He’ll always be a better free throw shooter, but Ingram is already a better defender and hits a higher percentage of his shots. He’s also growing as a player by leaps and bounds. How good will he be next year? He’s adding muscle. A big deal for him. 

But here’s the biggest difference: 22 million dollars. Ingram is paid 5 million. Beal gets 27. How is this even a discussion? Lakers can offer Kuzma and Ball, I just don’t think the Wizards take it. 

No way Indiana voluntarily gets raped just to help the Lakers situation. I like Brandon Ingram, hes a great young talent BUT he has a major health concern and you would be asking for an established young star in Myles Turner. Swap Turner with either Sabonis or Thad Young and it begins to make sense for Indy but even then I wouldnt give up Sabonis.

The Bulls trading for Ball isn’t a bad idea. I think the young core of Ball, Lavine, Porter, Markannen, and Wendell Carter Jr would be great to watch and could contend in the future (2-3 yrs) depending on durability and proper development.

The Wiz Lakers part of the deal is ok but feels like Wiz are getting a bit too much for Beal. Kuzma + Hart + LA 1st seems like a good enough package for Beal. Maybe add in a future 2nd rounder or pick swap option depending on how high the Wiz are on Kuzma.
