Memphis MadnessParticipantVernon Carey, Jr.: Has anyone said Derrick Coleman yet? I think someone has. Whatever. Karl Anthony-Towns, who is kinda the modern DC but probably with more upside, although KAT is very Colemanesque.
Cole Anthony: not a huge fan. Uh… Mike Bibby. A score first guy with range. Can do all the point guard things, too, decent size. Ok, maybe Deron Williams too. Not looking at a superstar point guard I don’t think.
Isaiah Stewart: I have seen profiles of him and limited highlights but I did read up on him a bit. Reminds me of Karl Malone. Failing that, an Armon Gilliam tribute band.
LaMelo Ball: Jeremiah Martin with more "buzz"?
Anthony Edwards: Scorer. Shooter. Not much else? Ricky Pierce.
James Wiseman: probably somewhere between Stromile Swift and Wilt Chamberlain. Probably from game to game, too, or, quarter to quarter. Split the difference: blend of Larry Kenon and Artis Gilmore. One comp I have heard that would be AWESOME if Wiseman can live up to it — David Robinson. I see a lot of the Admiral there, although Wiseman is raw. Hopefully he fills out. If not, dude needs to POUND the weight room. Although I could see him just being an Orlando Woolridge, or, to compare him to a BIG GAME JAMES of retro vintage: what about a 6’11/7 foot(ish) James Worthy? Or, a bouncier Bob McAdoo without the range. Or, is that just Amare Stoudemire? Ironically, you compared Wiseman to Jaren Jackson, Jr., which I don’t see other than both are somewhat raw bigs with tons of length, buzz, and upside. I ACTUALLY think Wiseman reminds me MORE of Kevin Garnett than Jaren does. Wiseman is more of a lankier, lean, quick-twitch explosive athlete who pretty much gives you dunks/rebounds/blocks at this point. Now, can he round out that game?

Scrooge McDuckParticipantMy comparison for hachimura is…… Moe Harkless! That Jamison comparison is pretty funny.
