kaceyParticipantPretty neat direction that the NBA in a whole is moving in, but as the article mentions, there are teams that already had these cameras prior to the NBA reaching the agreement with STATS. The Raptors have (publicly) made the most use of this technology and even had YouTube videos showing how they took the data the cameras output and turned it into something pretty remarkable. This article contains those videos and is a recommended read:
I’m a big fan of this analytical approach and I’m sure as some of the old school GMs/VP’s get pushed out, the younger generation FO personnel will rely on this data much more.
