Video games don’t understand the effect of team chemistry, playing systems, and other things that have an effect on player attributes. If a player doesn’t fit in a system, and is ineffective in a system, and you update a roster, the ratings for the player may go down alot worse than a player actually is.

For example, if Shannon Brown was as ineffective as he was for the 1st 3 teams he played for, his rating wouldn’t be 74. It would be more like the 57 or whatever you said Sonny Weems’ rating was. All because he found a niche with the Lakers. It’s not a grwat indicator of a player’s true ability at all. Just watch basketball, video games are meant to be played. Not a great way to base your knowledge.
