TONYDABOSS77ParticipantWill we ever see two wings as teammates be as dynamic as Pippen & Jordan were on BOTH ends of the court? They were the two best 2way players in the league when they were together.

festar35ParticipantWell Wade and James were really good for a while, but now that Wade’s knees are getting worse they are so dominant as a duo.
The best two-way wings after Wade/James in the NBA to me are George and Stephenson.
There are good duo’s like Harden and Parsons, but Harden’s D rules them out as two way players.
I also feel there is potential for Derozan and Ross to become a good pair of two way players as long as Derozan commits to defensive end.
I won’t say we will never see it, but from this the guys with the best chance are George and Stephenson which will never be on that level especially because I see George (who is the better of the two) upside as a poor man’s Pippen.

TONYDABOSS77ParticipantTrue, but Pippen & Jordan went strong from 87-98..that’s amazing.

3 No Biases 3ParticipantI doubt we will see anything like them. They were the two best defensive wings in the league plus they were great offensive players as well. Thats like having Lebron and Paul George on the same team…but even thats only if we consider them the two best defensive wings, which is arguable.
Wade and Lebron may be the closest we could see but Wade’s past his prime and the Heat seem to play just as good if not better without him..
The Stephenson and George duo wouldnt compare simply because George will likely never be the NBA’s best player and its tough to imagine Stephenson leading a team to the playoffs like Pippen did when Jordan was out.

Hacker90ParticipantWestbrook is considered a PG, but i’d say Westbrook & Durant

TONYDABOSS77ParticipantI know Durant’s been a monster in the league for a while now, but he’s not exactly good on defense.

Snubs15ParticipantThe 99/00 raptors with Vince and T Mac was the closest thing to Jordan and Pippen. They would have challenged the Lakers for a couple of those titles in the early 00’s.
