For this upcoming college basketball season I was wondering who you think the best player and team to watch are? Thanks for your opinion, mine are:

    Devin Ebanks or Evan Turner
Kentucky (Of course), Kansas, & Texas.

He is not the best pro prospect by any means, but Luke Harangody is arguably the best player in college ball going in to this season, he’s going to give you 24 and 12 every night in a tough conference. I’m excited to watch John Wall, and Derek Favors and see what impact they have for their respective teams. Kemba Walker I have on my radar, i think he could blow up, and Mississippi State intrigues me with Renardo Sydney added to a pretty solid team (especially with Jarvis on D)

KU- Top notch starters at every position and a bench half full of players that could start on top 25 teams is the team to beat
UK- Chalked full of young talent with a veteran post in Patterson has the talent, but im interested to see their team chemistry (Cal will probably get it together for them by the end of the season)

are the teams to beat in my opinion

Watch out for Yancy Gates, Deonta Vaughn and Lance Stephenson for Cincinnati. I think they will have a breakout season with the pieces they keep bringing in. Stephenson and Vaughn will be great perimeter threats and Gates will be the big man who can score down low or from 15 ft out.

The best team in the nation at the end of the year will be either Kentucky or Michigan State at the end of the year. That would be a great titile game.

my breakout team is Ohio State Turner, and Buford will be high draft picks and they will be a lot more experianced than last year i think they could do some damage.

    I dont see it.

I dont see Buford blowing up like that. I see him more of a 2011 lottery pick then 2010

edit: Not to jump on you Birdzilla, I just saw many people hype him up when they saw him high on the 2011 draft.

he showed flashes during the BIg Ten tournament and i think he can be a breakou player. i also really like Lauderdale hes a beastly shotblocker.

Buford showed some flashes, I agree. But not enough for me to expect him to enter the 2010 NBA Draft

i agree with joewolf luke will probably be the best player in college basketball…like tyler h he wont have the most pro potenial but anyone who has seen him play knows he dominates college players and will probably put up better points as well as rebounds then just about every player on a high major team. i agree qhaynes alot of people see someone high on the draft board or see a youtube clip then starts saying they are gonna be great (not saying thats what youre doing birdzilla but alot of people on here do that)

I feel that Cole Aldrich and Sharron Collins will have Player of the Year type seasons… I see Aldrich averaging 17 ppg 12 reb and 2 blks and Collins 18 ppg 6 aspg… And the fact that Kansas will only lose 3 or 4 games will help their cause…
