Overall:

NBA Comparison: TJ Warren

Strengths: Young wing/forward with a great deal of talent and upside … Put in the right situation and with focus and development, he shows a lot of potential … A high level shooter with excellent shooting stroke and range out to NBA three … Tremendous form on shot, gets feet set quickly, shoots with very good elevation with follow through and a repeatable and consistent release … Has an NBA body with thick legs and a strong overall body and core strength … Explosive two foot jumper who gets a number of highlight plays at the rim with his vertical and explosiveness … Hit 35.7% from three in the NBL, not outstanding, but illustrates his potential as a shooter … Shows some ability to get by defenders and create offense for himself driving the ball … Has pretty good creativity around the rim with the ability to finish off drives with finger rolls, and using the rim to protect from shot blockers … 42 inch max vertical was one of the best of the entire NBA draft combine, illustrating his explosiveness …

Weaknesses: Unproven and concerns surround his focus and lack of productivity … Played in the Australian NBL league and showed flashes, but struggled with consistent playing time and production … Defensive intensity needs improvement … Averaged just 5.52 ppg in 14.4 minutes per game … First step off the dribble is average … Knocked down just 65% of his free throws, a number that doesn’t help to support the fact that he’s an elite level shooter … Struggled in scrimmages to stand out at the NBA Draft Combine … Size is a concern as a forward … Lacks great length with just a plus 2 inch wingspan, 6-8.25 inches to his 6-6.5 barefoot height … 8’4.5 standing reach is guard size, but Flowers plays more like a 3 … Should work on stretching and becoming more flexible, shows somewhat tight hips and lack of great flexibility …

Outlook: After a fast start in Australia, struggled for playing time in the NBL … They experimented with playing him at point guard, but that idea was quickly scrapped as it is apparent that he lacked the speed and skill to play the 1 at the pro level … Shaping up to be a potential sleeper for the 2024 NBA Draft as a high upside shooting/scoring wing in the late first / early second round area …

Notes: Measured: 6′ 6.50” barefoot, 201.4 lbs, 6′ 8.25” wingspan, 8′ 4.50” standing reach … 34.5 inch standing vert,  42 inch max vertical at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine … Native of Jefferson, Georgia. Born in Baltimore, Maryland … Played at Combine high school in Charlotte, North Carolina … Four star recruit who was rated as a top 10 player in his class at points of his high school career … Was rated 26th by Rivals, 18th by ESPN, 31st by 247Sports, entering college … Committed to Louisville before de-committing and signing a professional deal with the Adelade 36ers of the NBL …
