Jazz trade Gobert and Bogdanavich to the Warriors (need a top 3 pick) for future first round pick, Wiggins, and Paschall.

Who says no? Jazz can replace Gobert with Wiseman, add Wiggins as a third scorer, and Paschall as theve needed a legit 4 for a while now. Yes, Warriors traded 2 picks to the nets, but they still have one in the next few years.

Warriors get a legit starting center to pair with green for an elite defensive front court, plus one more shooter to pair with the splash brothers. Curry, Thompson, Bojan, Green. Gobert

A top 3 pick is good…..in a normal draft. As good as that good be, as a Jazz fan, i really don’t think they want him. And as for Bojan, he has been our biggest free agency signing, pretty much of the decade…..which is pretty sad…but still the Jazz want players to know they are taken care of and not thrown away. And the Jazz are sticking with Gobert. He pretty much is their defense, and their entire identity. They chose him over a top 3 pick in Favors, who they traded their franchise PG for in the early 2010’s. Gobert has shown a lot of loyalty to Utah. And that’s the other thing, even if we did this trade, and we developed someone like Wiseman, he would be a lot more likely to walk out, because he has had the spotlight on him for so long. Gobert really hasn’t. And Wiseman isn’t the the defender Gobert is. I do know for a fact the Jazz did try and get Wiggins in 2014, at the time Cleveland wanted Pick 5,23, Burks and Favors. Looking at it now, it might not have been the worst thing especially if they could fix Wiggins’s flaws. But even still now, it’s not really smart to do that. The Jazz don’t need inefficient scorers. As for Paschall, I do like him, but I don’t think his upside is really that high, and I don’t really see him improving unless he proves to be a small ball 5.

I do acknowledge the point and I see it as fair on paper, I don’t think the Jazz would do that, and I’m not even sure the Warriors would want to take on Bojan’s contract, or the contract Gobert would get. I can’t remember who said it, but no one is paying big for a non shooting Center not named Rudy Gobert. And on top of that, Draymond and Gobert already don’t get along. Gobert would be more likely to leave GSW then Utah. So, I don’t think it would happen. It is a fair trade if it worked out, but just because a trade is fair doesn’t mean its a good trade.

Maybe for this years 1st (if top 3) and for sure the T’Wolves 2021 1st that came with Wiggins. Ingles instead of Bogdanavich. Probably need to throw in anther first and a center (Looney) as well. Gobert is a unicorn and Wiggins is almost an unwanted bloated contract.

    Gobert/Ingles — Wiggins/Looney/Paschall/2020 1st/2022 1st/2021 Wolves 1st

yeah i could see another first rounder )thought i typed it), plus wiggins and paschall. The only thing is it would need to stay gobert and bogdanavich. Fair trade but maybe they just love gobert that much

Jazz say no. They need a competitive advantage. Gobert is a good rebounder fast break finisher, and interior defensive presence. They should should keep him as part of their identity for those reasons. The warriors won their first championship with Bogut, who wasn’t all that great. He was a good passer, and quickly moved the ball. Gobert isn’t a perfect fit in Golden State.
