He’s now going to be the Spurs head of basketball operations and now Mitch Johnson is the coach… big news! Maybe the GOAT of NBA coaches???

Gregg has held the other role for nearly 29 years too. I’m not surprised, he has had another recent health set back and has coached to an age few if any NCAA coaches on a schedule over half as light have done.

One of the greatest coaches ever certainly has a an argument as the greatest living coach only Pat Riley springs to mind to oppose that. I know Steve Kerr has similar amount of titles but he didn’t build a team like Gregg and Pat did.

Gregg will still be around the franchise for several more years hopefully so its not like they have lost their oracle.

I guess he won’t sit on the bench during games unless Mitch asks him to.
