These are my rankings for the Starting PG’s in the NBA.

P.S. I will definitely get heat on this one hehe

Here’s how I rank them

A- Superstars

B-All-Stars/Borderline All-Stars

C- Quality Starters

D- Somewhat decent but not quite

F- Better off as a backup

Well I can’t see your list, when I click the link it takes me to a blank page for me to create my own. It looked fun…so I did. I’m sure I’ll be tarred & feathered as is common with rankings on this site but here’s my list:

*****A – Superstars:

01. Stephen Curry – I’m sure most of you know I’m quite a Warriors hater (at least I’m honest), but I can’t deny the guys skill. He’s the best shooter perhaps ever, but I also feel he’s more of a SG than an actual PG. Warriors don’t really need a PG in their current system.

02. Damian Lillard – As y’all know I’m a Thunder fan, so it physically pains me to put Lillard above Westbrook, but after that ass-whipping in the playoffs he deserves it. I think he’s knocking on Currys door too.

03. Russell Westbrook – I know most of y’all won’t have him this high, but it’s a homer pick so cut me some slack, he does average triple doubles afterall even if it’s often at the teams detriment.

04. Kyrie Irving – Not personally a fan of the guy, but he’s undeniably great. He’s probably above Westbrook in reality but again, homer pick.

05. Kemba Walker – Walker just keeps getting better every year, if he was on a better team and really pushing wins he’d probably be ranked higher.

06. John Wall – I’m not sure he’s Superstar material anymore due to injuries and the Wizards just being a mess. But he still has the ability to be so I’ll leave him up here for now.

****B – All-stars/Borderline All-stars:

07. D’Angelo Russell – Maybe an unpopular pick to have him this high but wow what a year. If he keeps improving he’ll be knocking on the Superstar door soon.

08. Chris Paul – Definitely slowing down in his old age, and he’s often injured, but he’s still All-star caliber in my opinion.

09. Mike Conley – Pretty much same as Chris Paul, definitely past his prime but he’s been criminally underrated his entire career so this is more of a nod of respect than anything.

10. Kyle Lowry – Most will probably have him higher, but since his brother in arms DeRozan was shipped it’s had a noticeable toll on Lowry, he just doesn’t look as good. His stats are down across the board aside from Assists (thanks to Kawhi & Pascal).

11. Ben Simmons – I struggle to say he’s All-star caliber, but he did make the ASG this year and he’s young and will only get better. In a few years he will probably be one of the faces of the league so his rank will only keep rising.

***C – Quality Starters:

12. Ricky Rubio – I originally had him in the All-star category but I feel like he’s past his prime and only going to keep declining. His style of play is almost all but gone, an afterthought of when times were better. (I’m a huge fan of pure point guards so this is kind of a nostalgia pick).

13. Jamal Murray – Young promising kid, I don’t know if he will ever be All-star caliber but he will be knocking on the door for most of his career.

14. De’Aaron Fox – Right now I’m putting Murray ahead of him, but I think at the end of the day Fox has a better chance at being All-star caliber, but they’re really close so time will tell.

15. Trae Young – Another young gun with All-star potential some day, but I think Murray & Fox are further along than him.

16. Eric Bledsoe – Some may have him higher but he’s never really impressed me. He’s good enough to start (hence quality starter) but he’s nothing special.

17. Jeff Teague – At one point he looked extremely promising, he even made an ASG. But for the last several years he’s been just “okay” which is good enough to land in the C rank.

**D – Somewhat Decent But Not Quite:

18. Reggie Jackson – He was a quality starter for a minute or two, but I think in general he’s been a disappointment to Detroit.

19. Darren Collison – He reminds me a lot of Bobby Jackson, that guy who’s good enough to start but was instead the best PG off the bench in the league. I know he’s starting now but he’s been a career 6th man so that keeps me from putting him in the C-Tier even if he may deserve it.

20. Derrick White – While he’s been superb lately, it’s too small of a sample size to give him too high of a ranking. But I think the Spurs found themselves a gem (yet again). We will see what happens when Dejounte Murray comes back, but White’s worth keeping an eye on for sure.

21. Dennis Smith Jr. – I think he fits this spot perfect, he’s decent but not a quality starter, at least not yet. I think he will improve and work himself into that C category soon.

22. Collin Sexton – Another unproven young guy so he’s hard to rank. I think he has C potential though.

23. Lonzo Ball – I thought LeBron was the starting PG? All jokes aside, Ball hasn’t lived up to the hype, but he’s a good passer and defender, if he can fix his broke-ass jumper he could be C-Tier one day.

24. Kris Dunn – This guy baffles me, one night he looks like an All-star and the next he’s an 8th man. I was tempted to put him in F-Tier but I think he deserves another chance.

*F – Better Off as a Backup:

25. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – This guys better than I expected, and he’s in reality on par with the last few in D-Tier. However, I feel like he’d be even better as a 6th man in a Ginobili type roll.

26. Elfrid Payton – This guy is just simply not good enough to be a starter, and due to the fact he has no shot it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s out of the league in a few years. I really wanted to like him since I love pure PG’s but he’s been underwhelming to say the least.

27. D.J. Augustin – I like D.J. but he’s a career role-player, he’s only starting because Magic have no decent PG’s.

28. Tyler Johnson – One of the worst contracts in the league, guy is barely an 8th man and isn’t really even an NBA caliber PG. Much like Augustin, he’s only starting due to lack of talent.

29. Jalen Brunson – Not sure why he’s even on this list, he was a bench warmer sharing time with Barea & Devin Harris until DJJ got shipped out of town. Luka is more like the PG on this team anyway.

30. Justise Winslow – Clearly the Heat’s real PG is Dragic, I know he’s injured but still, why even have Winslow here? I heard he wasn’t horrible at PG but even injured Dragic is better. It’s a shame Dragic wasn’t on the list I’d probably have him up in the C-Tier.

Hope this didn’t personally offend any snow flakes, these are just my opinions & observations.

 IMO Damian Lillard is definitely not "knocking on Curry’s door." Get back to me when he has two MVPs, three rings, and is just as popular around the world as Curry.

IMO none of the players that you listed are superstars. Here is my criteria when it comes to defining an NBA superstar: the player needs to have been in the top-three in NBA jersey sales at least three seasons, and in at least two of those seasons the player needs to have finished number one (not in a row necessarily); the player needs at least one MVP award; the player needs to have at least one ring; and the player needs to have been named Finals MVP at least once. I didn’t include "an All-Star selection" because it is obviously implied.

 How can you justify having Culver 31st on your mock? Even if you don’t think he’ll pan out in the NBA, projecting him as a second round pick is strange.

I haven’t even started on my mock yet, I’m not sure why it’s even there. I must have accidentally created one a while back as it says "Updated: 12/21/18 2:30 am". So the rankings are probably whatever the main mocks were at that time.

I don’t usually start mocking until the last week or two before the draft, too much changes before then.

 Ben Simmons defence has impressed me a ton this series. With that being said he’s not a "threat" to your team the way some of the guys on this list are. He just doesnt play agressive enough and his lack of free throw shooting hurts him. As the years go bye he is slowly settling into a Lamar Odom type role without the shooting.
