Sewok15ParticipantDoug Collins said they had only 15 points at the half vs. Nigeria but they are beating the "Greatest Team Ever" 15-12 as I write this. I am as patriotic as they come but I like routing for the underdog as well. I obviously know the US will pull away and crush them but would it be considered a Benedict Arnold move to be routing for Tunisia in this one?

UNCbasketballbumParticipantvery very early….US is not hitting threes which could give them trouble later on. Tunisia has played well so far but US is amping up its defensive pressure…

Sewok15ParticipantLike I said, I know Tunisia has no chance to win but the way they started I found myself routing for them a bit…I just was wondering what other people’s thoughts are about routing for another nation. Lebron just pinned a layup against the glass as I speak and It reminds me why love watching USA basketball. I just have conflicted feelings because of the underdog story and the fact that this team thinks they are better than the Dream Team. It kind of makes me wish for a group stage loss just to knock them off their high horses a bit.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIt’s not that Tunisia came to play. It’s that Team USA did not come to play. This is why the Dream Team is better than this team, the Dream Team wanted to embarass their opponents and show no mercy, regardless of how bad the opposition was.

Sewok15ParticipantSo you think the same team that scored 15 in the first half against Nigeria is the same team that put up 33 on the best defensive team by far in the tournament? I know the US thought they would walk over them but give these Africans some credit.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHis entire game is completely off. I thought he had stepped into being the 3rd best SG in the L during the Spurs series but that Heat defense really hounded him and his struggles have followed. Hopefully he can get it together during these Olympics though
