    my predictions for the main card fights:

    Lyoto Machida vs Shogun Rua (lhw title)- I’m pulling for Shogun, but my money is on Lyoto.

    Cain Velasquez vs Ben Rothwell (hw bout)- Cain in what should be a very close fight between two guys trying to get a title shot.

    Gleison Tibau vs Josh Neer (lw bout)-Tibau, but i don’t really care for either fighter.

    Anthony Johnson vs Yoshi Yoshida (ww bout)- Johnson all the way. He is one of the top up and coming ww’s and should be fighting for the title in another year.

    Joe Stevenson vs Spencer Fisher (lw bout)-two middle of the pack veterans who need a win to stay relevant. I’m going with Stevenson if he is smart enough to use his wrestling and ground game.

    Also, for those not buying the ppv, starting at 6pm pacific time, they are showing two fights live between a couple of good young fighters on Spike telvesion:

    Ryan Bader vs Eric Schafer (lhw bout)-I’m going with “Darth” Bader on this one.

    Pat Barry vs Antoni Hardonk (hw bout)-two big hw’s who like to stand and bang should be good. I’m going with Barry, although that is just a guess.

    This im my opinion is a weak ufc fights, I am very dissapointed in the fighters picked, I almost thought not to order this time, but I always have a big bbq and many beers and freinds over for these fights so I had to order!

    wow!!!, I don’t know what to say about this title fight decision between Lyoto and Shogun. First, off I went 7-0 on my picks tonight. Every fight played out exactly like I predicted, except one, the title fight. I watch this sport with a passion. I’ve been to fights, met fighters and trainers and have not missed a UFC in over 7 years. Basketball is a hobby compared to how much I watch MMA. And that title fight was hands down the worst decision I have ever seen in my life. I scored all 5 rounds for Shogun. He won that fight without question. I seriously have to wonder what the hell the judges were watching giving that fight to Lyoto. Everyone in my house, both the UFC comentators, and every dude on the internet is in complete shock right now. It would be like after game 5 of the finals last June, if David Stern came out and said we have decided the Orlando Magic won the title. A complete fuc.king joke.

    hey j1232, yeah it wasn’t the best card in terms of name fighters. I figured they would have brought more to the table with it being the first event in Los Angeles in a long time. But if you get past name recognition, it was a very solid card. Also, just wanted to point out, 7-0 on my predictions last night. I’ll see if I can keep my streak alive on November 7th with the next Strikeforce card on CBS.

    on your predictions. I had 10-15 people at my house, we all could not believe that decision also, horrible.
