Strengths: 6’9 versatile forward … Does most of his work in the high post while facing up … Solid shooting mechanics. Good midrange game. Can shoot from three … Good perimeter skills and good court vision for a player his size. Often looks for a cutting teammate rather than scoring for himself … Good rebounder … Solid athlete … Good shot blocker. Can defend the post and perimeter … Plays well in transition.
Weaknesses: Transitioning to the next level may be a tough task for Bragg. While he has the ability to play and defend multiple positions at the high school level, he doesn’t excel at the low post or perimeter enough to have a true position yet. Doesn’t quite have the strength to be a full time big but while a solid athlete, doesn’t have the quickness or handles to be a full time wing. Even when he had a size advantage, he didn’t always utilize it to expose smaller opponents … Comes out of the game a lot, even in tight games, often spends a good amount of time on the bench.
Outlook: The Kansas commit is young talented prospect with solid upside. Whether he further develops his game and becomes a versatile force or settles and becomes a tweener is still in question. Not a probable one and done candidate but with development at Kansas, he should be able to further his basketball career.
