     Shamet, Harrell. Lou Williams, Beverley, Zubac. All these guys were just given up on by their former teams and they just came back from 27 against the champs. If Im a free agent looking for a home next year couldnt find a better place.So happy for all of these guys individually.

    This game or series might be why Durant chooses to go to Clippers this offseason! Still a big market, yet plays with a fiery demeanor no matter the players. Why would he want to go to the Knicks when they have won anything meaningful since like the 90’s? The Clippers are doing things like this now, imagine how much better they could be with Durant!

        I’m not saying Durant doesn’t play with a fiery demeanor. He joined the Warriors to start winning championships. Now he’s won 2, could be a third this year. Now he knows how to win championships, so now I think he will decide to go somewhere else, somewhere where he can be the man again like he was in OKC. But I don’t think he’ll go to New York like many people think, I think he’ll go to the Clippers because he sees a better coach in Doc Rivers than David Fizdale, because they know how to win and they want to. The Knicks do to, but they have a losing culture and have been that way since like the 90’s! And this series could change that. And if you don’t believe Durant has a fiery demeanor than maybe he goes to the Clippers to earn one.

    It’s interesting how they are mainly playing Gallinari and Trez with a mix of 4 small guards – Pat Bev, SGA, Shamet and Lou Will. This is just effort – good on them, they deserve results for scrapping for everything. Kawhi would be a really good fit in free agency, another guy who works for everything and just comes play, no bullshit attached.

     I honestly thought this was about the Nets, with Dinwiddie, Dudley, Davis, Harris, and of course D’Angelo. 

    But both the Clippers and the Nets look like the smart choices for freee agents. Both teams are a superstar away from being legit championship contenders. Image an era were the NBA is dominated by New York and LA. Just neither of the team anyone expected.

       Absolutely right. Doc has been a top 5-7 coach every year for the last decade and a half. Pop and Brad Stevens are the top 2, and I would put Doc, Carlile, and Budenholzer to round out the top 5, with D’Antoni, Kerr, Snyder and Atkinson in the next tier.

         Shout out to Nate McMillian as well. He’s been a damn good coach in this league for a long time, and he’s doing wonders with the Pacers without their best player.

    it’s really crazy to think that only a couple years ago the lob city lineup they had.  basically turned components within the chris paul and griffin trades into almost their entire 10 man lineup from last night.

    gallo – via jamal crawford and 2018 1st (from rockets) via chris paul trade (jamal crawford released by hawks, throw in for salaries).

    zubac – via mike muscala via tobias harris via blake griffin trade.

    beverley – via chris paul trade.

    shamet – via tobias harris via blake griffin trade.

    SGA – via (2) 2nds and 1st via blake griffin trade.

    green – via avery bradley via blake griffin trade.

    harrell – via chris paul trade.

    chandler – via tobias harris via blake griffin trade.

    sweet lou – via chris paul trade.

     I am still 100 percent convinced Kawhi is joining them next year, and games like this (where they show tenacity and grit!) only reinforce his plan.

     People may not think that the Clippers are an obvious FA destination but they are in an attractive location have the core of a play off team in place, have a title winning coach in Doc and an experienced FO overseen by Lawrence Frank. Despite losing CP3, DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin in recent seasons they have quietly remained a play off team and drafted well in the middle of the first round.

    Also they managed to get 68 games out of Gallinari across the regular season and he had his best scoring season and showed what a quality player he is when he is sound.
