This was an expected move. I don’t like what’s being reported right now though, Ty Lue being the frontrunner and all… Monty Williams on the other end is also linked to the Coach’s vacant position though, and I think he’d do a good job, much better than Lue. Mark Jackson should also be looked at

Luke was put in a rough position. But his substitution patterns and late game strategy were puzzling. But he’s young and a bright guy . He shouldn’t be unemployed for long. Kings should hire him.

I will be surprised if anyone other than Ty Lue gets the job.  Lue has Lakers ties, Lebron ties, and has won a title as a player and coach he is getting the job.

Bad move. They were 23-8 with Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, and LeBron healthy. This season wasn’t Walton’s fault. The Kings are expected to get Walton. First Lakers pass on De’Aaron Fox, then they’ll grab Walton. Feasting on Laker scraps.

I just don’t want to see a LeBron puppet. Not Mark Johnson and definitely not Jason’s Kidd. Kidd is worst case scenario. Why do people keep suggesting that with a straight face?

Just maybe assuming Ball is kept(not traded in offseason) and that Kidd has learnt something in his time away from coaching:

They would bring him for two reasons : Lebron would respect Kidd due to USA days(which is half the battle) and They believe Kidd would be a perfect mentor for Ball as that is who he is compared to as his ceiling…If they see Lonzo as legit franchise cornerstone for post lebron they will probably try maximize his ceiling.

I wouldn’t personally bring him or Lue in as they both are dummies and lack good X’s and O’s see Kidds time in Brooklyn to how he handles vets which wasn’t flash…

This team has imploded, not sure its a attractive destination to Free Agents currently.  And they have average assets to use to get better.

But as long as you have LeBron you have a chance,
