This may come off a bit random, but I always seem to make weird observations with players and their jersey numbers. All american basketball leagues up to the ncaa only allow jersey numbers 0-5,10-15,20-25, etc etc. I understand the reasoning behind this. It allows easier communication with the refs,
What I don’t understand is the international/olympic rules. All the USA squads seem to wear numberes no greater than 15 and no less than 4. Why are 0-3 not available? Why do international leagues and players always seem to have numbers that wouldnt be allowed in american leagues? How did these differences develope?
