HazelParticipantIf I am Lebron, and I truly want to win more than anything else, then I thank Bosh and Wade for the good times and allow them to get paid in Miami.
Then I look for a young team with talent, cap space and future picks. I know this is hard for most people to fathom (Including Lebron probably) but…
Utah has legitimate talent at every position. Two wings who could be more valuable (good and durable) than Wade next year (Hayward and Burks) Two PG’s with more combined talent than he has ever played with. Two bigs with talent, one who defends at a high level. Plus Gobert, Hood and two stashed players overseas who could help and 5 extra picks in the next 4 years.
Cleveland has Kyrie, Wiggins and a bunch of role players who fit well around him.
Bucks have Parker, Greek Freak, Sanders, solid young guys.
Philidelpia has talent but, wait they might be all playing there for three years…nevermind.
Phoenix has shooters everyhwere great guard play on both ends and servicable bigs. Lots of youth. They won 48 games in the west!
If he were to take the max at any of these places (Except maybe phily) there is a high likelyhood he would be the savior of the franschise AND have a great chance of winning a tiitles for a decade. When guys are up for raises pick the favorites and trade the others for picks or rookie contracts.
Just makes too much basketball sense.
I understand that this won’t happen for Utah, but Phoenix has to be enticing to him. I’d bring Ray Allen along to shoot and mentor the young guys

nill650ParticipantTo me it makes more sense longterm for a player of his caliber to have others flock to him.
If they do not because bosh and wade are there, than either they (bosh and wade)are still the better option from who else is out there(wade isnt anymore imo) or they get replaced. I think miami figures out how to get lebron to stay and if anything bosh goes away and melo comes in.I doubt wade goes anywhere, but he really ought to consider hanging it up.
I think the heats committment to wade as a lifer will actually hurt their chances of Lebron James staying there past a couple more seasons but if bosh stays or melo replaces him, or slim chance if love replaces bosh it might be enough to keep james there past 2016
I look for him to either bolt now to a contender like the clippers to play with cp3 and continue chasing titles, or stay put on a shorter deal that allows him easier ways to make big bucks when the nba new tv deal goes into effect but still aloows decent options for teamates right now.
