Does OKC need to win a championship either this year, or next year in order to re-sign Kevin Durant?
He only has 2 more seasons on his contract after this one. I can’t imagine OKC would feel too comfortable with him in the final year of his contract and facing free agency without any rings on his fingers.
If they don’t win any championships, what will KD do? What should OKC do?

XhypebeastParticipantHe would be a fool not to leave, although his loyalty is strong.. I don’t think anyone could be comfortable losing in the name of loyalty.

marcellousjrParticipantIn order to cement his legacy as one of the NBA Greatest…..he has to go some place where he can win and win soon… Unfortunately he is playing in the same era as LeBron.. so him winning multiple championships might be slim, but he would have a better chance to win one, if he went and played elsewhere… I can see him going to New York or LA (Clippers)… FYI.. there aren’t ANY star players trying to go to Oklahoma city to play basketball!!

KawagicParticipantThey simply need a better coach. Brooks is completely garbage. When you have the best "pure shooter" in the league and one of the most athletic/talented PG in the game (arguably two top 5 players) and not to mention an absolute beast in Ibaka all in thier prime??? You should do more. Too many iso’s and hero ball. I could only imagine what coach Pop would do with a team like that. The only chance I see Durant staying is if OKC gets a better coach. Just my 2 cents….
