Lee’s season ended prematurely in game 1 of the Warriors first round matchup with the Denver Nuggets when he suffered a complete tear of his right hip flexor.
Lee hit the deck pretty hard and took his time to get to the free throw line where he made 1 of 2. After that, as he was jogging toward mid-court he heard a “pop” and you could visibly see that something went wrong.
With Kenneth Faried most likely back in the lineup for the rest of the series and David Lee out, the Warriors have lost of great deal of hope for advancing to the next round.
