Would you trade simmons for cp3 and unprotected draft picks

Rumor is Milwaukee looking to move Giannis for Paul but Golden State was quick to counter with Curry.

We’ll see. I’m betting teams come up with a much better package that Simmons. I head Dallas was considering Offering both Doncic and Porzingis and that would be hard to turn down if you’re OKC.

 There’s no way at this point in Chris Paul’s career that I would deal Ben Simmons for him. CP3 routinely gets hurt when he’s needed most and he will likely only declined and get hurt more often from this point on. Even if Simmons never shoots he’s still a versatile defender, a good rebounder, a great passer, and a good finisher around the rim. He’s practically a nightly triple double threat and he’s only 23. There are very few players I’d even consider dealing Simmons for and Chris Paul is absolutely not on that list regardless of the amount of unprotected first round picks the Thunder offered.

Simmons has been working on the weak spot in his game that is his shooting.

So I wouldn’t trade him, because how deadly would the biggest PG with a good shooting touch be.

No amount of picks and Paul on his last legs will make that a fair offer. 

 Simmons may not have a jumpshot but he shot above .560 from the field.. I think he was 15th in the league! I think there’s far too much made of his shooting to try and cut him down. Lonzo Ball shoots about 40% from the line and many guys shoot about that from the field. We have guards shooting in the 20s from three as well. Ben is 6’10" and far from the first guy that size to not have shooting range. He knows it, so he stays in his lane. As a PG, he needs to develop that shot, but you don’t trade a 23 year old 6’10" all star point guard that averages 16/8/8 runs like a deer and defends multiple positions.  You especially dont trade him for a has-been owed 40+mil a year for multiple years. Sheesh.

 Hell no! Simmons is what, 23??? He can still develop his jump shot..CP3 will miss 20 plus games a year and no one wants to play with him…

 hell no, Simmons is favorite the win Rookie of the year and CP3 has been declining for awhile.. smh

 76ers say no due  to :Simmons age,potential,chemistry with team and if he now has a jump shot or at least a reaspectabe one. It would be making this team one injury away teams ever if they did which as a GM would be a sure fire way of getting you out of a job.

OKC say no for some unlikely reasons: 

We believe SGA has a higher ceiling than Simmons and if CP3 mentors him the right way he may just bring out another level in the Guy. Bringing in Simmons may stunt his growth.

CP3 he may not get us much but I see us preferring to trade him and keep the picks maybe more in prestis M.O
