TravelinTravParticipantwith all the crazy trades in the nba and the league turining into a modern day game of NBA Jam who would you take and consider to be the best duo in the league?
NBA Jam team-Lebron and A.D.
Real NBA-Kawhi and P.G.

halfdecayedParticipantNah Lebron still better than Kawhi to me and AD > PG lol. This is the best duo in the league.

SubZeroParticipantAt full health it’s gotta be Lebron and AD. Some people will probably call this a hot take but I think people are overrating Kawhi a little by saying he’s clear and away the best player in the league. He and PG are definitely the 2nd best though

festar35ParticipantVictor Oladipo & Malcolm Brogdon……ok maybe not, but I’m excited about it.
Who we got?
Irving + Durant – A healthy Durant would put them in the conversation, but he ain’t & we don’t know what he will be on return.
Westbrook + Harden – 2 very good talents & both MVP winners, but I think their reluctance to share the ball (at least at this point) will keep them off the top.
George + Leonard – The 2 best 2-way players in the NBA. 2 of the best players in the NBA, great scorers, defenders, can create offense & neither of them appear to be selfish players on court.
James + Davis – We know what LeBron is at this point, but health plays a role given his age. Davis is another guy who has had injury problems long-term, but we know he is an insane talent. They will complement each other nicely.
Simmons + Embiid – This depends on Simmons diversifying his offensive game & become a more well rounded threat in terms of scoring. If he hits the 3-ball they could be the best duo, but I don’t see that happening. A mid-range game will help, I think they are a top-5 combo though.
Give me Paul George & Kawhi Leonard. Paul George was playing at an MVP level first half of last season until his shoulders became a real issue for him. Kawhi is a 2 time Finals MVP & we know what he brings to the game.
Some young duos I’m excited about:
Doncic + Porzingis – They could be an absolutely dominant offensive duo.
Murray + Jokic – Relies a lot of Murray finding some consistency.

OhCanada-ParticipantThe supporting team will still decide which duo is the best not the talent. Lebron and AD maybe more talented than Kawhi and PG but Bev, Harrell, Lou etc. will make the look good.
Lakers supporting team is a nice collection of good players but the Clippers are already a good team with a good coach and philosophy. Lakers got a new coach and every player on that roster aside from Rondo, Lebron and Kuzma is brand new.

HeroescantdieParticipantKawhi over PG just a little bit ahead of James and AD, just beacuase Kawhi’s very great run at this playoff. LBJ and AD didn’t amke it to the playoffs and I think I might go for a tandem that had a little bit of momentum but PG’s momentum was killed by dame’s shot

MopgrassParticipantLeonard is a few steps ahead of LeBron at this point: on offense and definitely on defense. He’s better for more minutes. However, I think AD is also much better than PG13 (because of offense). I agree that Clippers having a majority of their team returning is a big help. Their team also fits together really nicely. Not too many guys need the ball.
Cousins, LeBron, and AD is a lot of talent, but a funny fit. A lot of teams are run through guards and SF’s, but that’s 3 guys who are or have asked to be PF’s. They’ve got some shooting in place finally and they’re better than the Clips depth-wise. But the Clips have so many good defensive players. Except Lou Williams. He is so bad on D. On the other side, LeBron walks on D.
I still think another team might challenge. Bucks? Nuggets? Warriors (if Klay returns)? Other?

Memphis MadnessParticipantRuss/Harden. It’s a guard’s league and those two could be unstoppable.
NBA Jam: I would play with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson, Jr.
