halfdecayedParticipantJust saw his laker interview and damn he looks in damn good shape. Not sure what he did but he might have lost 25 pounds already. Dude has alot to prove this year, especially with next year’s free agency class being weak, he’s gonna look to get paid. Says his quad is finally 100 % and wants to help the team win, whatever his role is. This could be a huge steal for the Lakers

cohenbc1ParticipantI hope Boogie has a strong comeback season. But I think his role will be watching from the bench when the Clippers go to the death lineup of Beverley, Williams, Kawhi, PG and Harrell. Even a 100% healthy Boogie can’t keep up with any of those guys.

i expect boogie to play well and to start. But i dont think hell finish games. I think the lakers best lineup will be avery bradley, danny green, lebron james, kyle kuzma and anthony daivs

cohenbc1ParticipantI can see that, but sounds like a pretty stagnant offense if teams force the ball out of LeBron’s hands.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantI think philly and Milwaukee will kick both LA teams a** this year. I’m not a Paul George fan. And the lakers organization are a disgrace to basketball.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantI think the lakers were one of the favorites to win it all last year. What a joke. Sad!

The GoatParticipantI think Boogie is going to be pretty dominant. They are a problem, AD and Boogie together. If Boogie didn’t get hurt that Pelicans team was rolling.. now, they have Lebron.

Arc12345ParticipantPeople are so quick to right this guy off and I definitely get it – the attitude problems, the injuries, etc.
But this guy was always in contention for the best center in basketball a few years ago and was adding more stuff to his game (3 point shot) and was integrating it pretty well.
I know the game is fast, positionless, and the importance of being able to guard in space has become a premium but this guy was so good! I know he was never the most athletic guy and the achilles injury can really rob you of the athleticism you have, but this guy can play.
I just watched his interview with the Lakers and he has career averages of 21.2 ppg and 10.9 reb…don’t care who you’re playing for those are impressive numbers in 9 seasons.
I think he’ll be significantly better than expected.

MopgrassParticipantI’m wondering how slow this team will play. LeBron and Cousins are a bit deliberate. Feels like a half court team. LeBron breaks down the defense, but slowly. When guys like Leonard does that, he does it quickly. That makes it easier to free up 3 point shooters (the guys guarding have to collapse quickly). Point being: I’m expecting a lot of stagnation and that’s not great.
I think they’re a top 4 team. If Goran Dragic is traded in the Westbrook package, OKC might buy him out and he might want on a top team where he can start (for the veteran minimum). If Dragic made it to the Lakers, I’d see them as the favorites. Someone needs to break down the offense quickly.
