     Will the rockets be willing to give up 4 1st rounders for westbrook like they were willing for jimmy a year ago?

    Would the celtics want any part of cp3 if there were picks involved in a 3 way with the rockets and thunder . Of course Hayward would be involved as well. Thoughts

    This is the relationship. Daryl Morey gives the media rumors in free agency and the trade deadline. In return, the media gives glowing reviews of Daryl Morey at every turn. It is tiresome.

    Heat dont any cap room, nor do rockets and I cant fathom OKC not laughing Detroit off the phone when they mention Jackson who they OKC could not get rid of quick enough.

         Despise the team and their fans are some of the worst I have ever been around. They live off their past and their Cheap basketball bad boy history and their luckfest Lakers implosion title.  I like Westbrook would be so sad to see him go to that Hole in the ground. Im a Jordan fan so you know you have to hate PissedOns with passion.

      No one has that kind of cap room anymore. That doesn’t preclude a trade from happening. The Heat can easily match salary with Dragic & Winslow, then send Olynyk to a 3rd team to create luxury tax/hard cap breathing room.

        I think OKC would ask for Winslow with Adebayo and/or Hero. Then they send Dragic to a 3rd team. I’m not sure they’d get that, but I’d ask for it.

         OKC has no use for Dragic. OKC just got a PG from the Clippers and they’re going young.

          I’m sure they’ll ask for it too, but they’re not getting that many young pieces for Westbrook with his age, injury history, and the contract attached to him.

          Part of trading a big salary is taking back unwanted expiring salary which is what Dragic is. He could easily be bought out or sent somewhere else for another expiring deal at a different position. OKC’s main motivation will be trimming their luxury tax bill going forward.

     I very much doubt Harden wants to play with westbrook and vice versa.

    Two of the ultimate stat padders won’t want to share.

    They will prob need to swap it for another bad contract. eg. John Wall

         Wahington may have to add another draft pick or asset.

        The point is they are both unmovable contracts.

        Thunder go into full rebuid and get another draft pick.  Wizards have Rui, Beal, Portis with westbrook can compete for a playoff spot.

        Wall is also 2 years younger.

           I can just spot good or bad / overrated players.  Alot of ppl just look at stats or highlight reels but there is alot to being a good winning bball player.

          Remember a few years back when I used to go against alot of kids on here posting their "top 10" players including Dwight Howard, Melo and Kevin Love.  Where are those 3 now ? They are not that old, 2 are virtually out of the league and the other one (Love) has an unmovable contract

          Geez, only a couple of seasons back people still stupidly thought Carmelo was a top 10 or 15 player !!

          Attitude problems or chemisty killers – Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Cousins, Jimmy Butler, Westbrook.  No big name wants to play with Westbrook, look at Paul George wanting to get away from him.

              How am i picking immature fights with kids ?  Telling the truth about some overpaid nba star who will be 34-35 and still earning $44-47 mill.

              Was there or was there not alot of kids on here with stupid posts a few years back ?  Anyone who watches basketball or has experience wouldn’t make some of the stupid comments we have seen. 

              Yes alot of these kids have dropped off this forum lately and there seems to be more experience users but there were alot of kids on here making silly comments

              Examples

              top 10 players, Dwight howard, melo, Kevin Love

              How many Perry Jones will be an all star comments have we seen

              how many silly threads such as some young lakers fans – let trade Nick Young, a second round pick and a bag of potatoes for Kevin Durant.

              Alot of experiences posters are on here now but back a few years ago this wasn’t the case.

          Russ is obviously better than Melo. At worst, replacing Chris Paul with Russ is a lateral move on the court, and James Harden actually likes Russ. Why wouldn’t he want that to happen?

     Finding a way to make it work under the salary cap would be extremely difficult, and I honestly don’t see it being a very good fit even if they could figure out a way to make it happen. They’d have to completely change their offensive system and play harden off the ball most of the time. OKC is not going to have an easy time trading Westbrook.

     Lets say Harden and Westbrook do want to link up in Houston. This would make cp3 the odd man out in the back court or a really really expensive 6th man…

    To be fair I hope the following happens:

    OKC gets,CP3 who takes a buy out and helps get us under the tax line ,as I am sure he would love to go to lakers now to get that elusive ring, Gordon(who we re-up first) and multiple picks

    Houston get Westbrook and another cheapish deal like abdel Nader or something like that.

    I personally would try avoid trading with Heat as we probably want their picks to be as bad as possible from Clippers trade…

         Its actually not that bad. If the Thunder bought out Paul it would mean for three years they have $40 mil locked on their cap. Alot of rebuilding teams actually find a hard time meeting the required minimum that you have to spend. Look at the Knicks this year giving huge deals to guys like Taj Gibson, Elfrid Payton and Reggie Bullock. Not saying those are bad players but you can defenitely fill those roles at a much cheaper price.

        With that being said that same space can easily be used to absorb other contracts to obtain draft picks like what the Nets have been doing for years now.

     A lot would depend on how many picks/assets Prest would want for Westbrook or would he accept less assets if he could create cap space and save luxury tax.

    I don’t see how Boston could take CP3 and play him and Kemba together.

    CP3 plus picks for Westbrook works but would Presti want CP3’s deal on his books.

    Any Westbrook deal would ideally need a 3rd team to provide expiring deals or take a salary dump. The likes of Memphis and Atlanta have some nice expiring contracts for example which could be bounced to OKC to make the maths add up.
