    If the Clippers and Kawhi win the championship. He is the GOAT. Better than Jordan, Kobe or Bron. Beating the super team in the Heat. Bringing home a Larry OB to Canada and winning with the clippers. GOAT status.

    Leonard’s people called the Lakers to delay the Anthony Davis trade beyond the deadline two hours before they signed with the Clippers. This tells me that Leonard knew the whole time he was going to the Clippers, knew that the Lakers would be the competition, and held out to make sure the Lakers couldn’t get anybody. 

    No one is going to feel sorry for the Lakers at all here, but it definitely doesn’t make me like Leonard.

      I actually like him more. Shows he does everything to try to win. Plus he screwed the Lakers and I am always for them getting screwed over.

    The thing is, Kawhi is never a target for anyone. He clearly doesn’t say anything..! He doesn’t claim be the best, he doesn’t set expectations, make promises or doesn’t care what others think. There is no pedestal to knock him off. You can never say he’s not worth the money or he’s overrated. He’s proven he can get the job done in a team of stars (Spurs) and as the star (Raptors). If he gets a chip in LA, then I think he’ll have string claim to be a top 20 all time player, pushing top 10. Thats with no recency bias either. A third chip puts him there for sure.
