dmo21ParticipantI like this pickup for Detroit. Good first big off the bench behind Griffin and Drummond.

CoachWyersParticipantThey said they want to try him as their starting SF like they did with Marcus. Personally I don’t think that will work they would be better off sliding Blake to SF and have Markieff at PF if they are set on wanting to start him.

ChoppyParticipantI hope they’re smart enough to realise that’s a bad idea…

dmo21ParticipantYeah, I don’t think having Morris as your starting SF would be a good idea either. Rather see Snell there where he can focus on defense and hitting an open 3. I like Morris off the bench as he can play beside Griffin or Drummond. Rose and Morris off the bench with some young guys would be a good unit.
I also think they should start Kennard at the 2 and give him a chance there to hit open 3s.

ChoppyParticipantI like it too. Good insurance cover for Blake too if (when) he gets injured. Also allows us to manage Thon Makers minutes (I don’t think he’s good in extended minutes).
Handy player. Can hit an open 3, can score close to the basket. A second unit featuring Rose/Morris/Maker/Doumbouya/Kennard (unless Kennard starts) will definitely have enough scoring.

xJumpManxParticipantWhat is the Pistons plan. They keep putting themselves in the just good enough to not be in the lottery but not even close to winning a playoff series. I thought this was what most teams try to avoid. With the current lottery rules(which are beyond horrible) having a chance to get a top pick would seem a better route.

r377ParticipantAs a Pistons fan yes it can be frustrating. Blake had a great season but got mentally and physically worn out just over half way through.
I like Markieff, I do miss marcus morris and Ilysova.
This is the final year of REggie Jacksons contract luckily. I think like most american nba players he will put the extra effort in this season because is going to be a free agent

kobyzParticipantI would try trading Drummond for a quality starting SF, him and Blake doesn’t fit well together as Blake at this point better serve as a miss match small ball 5…
