    Daily Lakers thread: they’re about to, somehow, swing and miss on Leonard and Russell because they’re waiting on Leonard. Leonard is going back to the Raptors, I think. He’s willing to, possibly, meet with Pelinka after meeting with Magic. Doesn’t sound like he’s that hot after the Lakers. 

    In the meantime, D’Lo, who should’ve been their target going to the Wolves if they can move Teague. 

    Butler is supposed to go for the Heat.

    You get AD and LeBron and it stops there?

     This won’t age well.. he gone.. did what he had to do there. He wanted to go back home a year ago and he now has the chance to. I get the Lakers hate but be realistic all signs point to the Lakers now

    When’s the last time a stud free agent took meetings with other teams and ended up staying where he was.  Kawhi is 100% going to the Lakers

     so are you saying the lakers should not wait on kawhi leonard who might be the best player in the nba so they can go hard after deangelo russell? I mean missing out on options b, c and d is an occasionaly unfortunate part of business when youre chasing option A

     The way things are shaping up, the Lakers aren’t going to have a ton of options left if they miss on Leonard. The pg market is really drying up. Might be forced to bring back rondo or IT.
