    Mirotic is leaving the NBA to head back to Europe by signing a 6yr – $70mil with Barcelona. 

    That’s a massive deal in Europe.

    Damn I was thinking he turned down bank but that’s legit money. Wonder how much they get taxed over there compared to the USA

    Reportedly that is the contract in euros, making it about 6yrs/79million USD.  With that kind of money no wonder he decided to leave the NBA.

     Good decision.  Go back to family and friends.  He has proved he can play in the NBA.  He will be a hero back home.  Better city and climate.

    Doesn’t have to play and travel a gruelling 82 game season, plus he has already played with 3 nba teams.  He would of signed with a different 4th team and no doubt would of got traded again to his fifth or even 6th team by the team his next nba contract was up.

    He prob won’t get traded again back home to another team.  Better place for him and wife and son.

      That’s a good way of looking at it. Similar money for way less games. Good deal.
