    Before the Greek Freak joined the NBA, EB told us he was the real deal. Many, including myself, were dubious. MVP later, I need to admit I was wrong.

     I thought he’d be a good versatile player. Like how Draymond Green turned out but better. Didnt think he’d be this good.

    He’s nowhere near finished developing, the guy works too hard to not improve.

     When he gets that J consistent watch out(more watch out than he already is haha). He needs to hmu ill get his J right.! 

    But forreal when he gets a consistent 3 ball its over for everyone. And its crazy bc its already over for everyone hence the MVP he won tonight. But itll be more over for everyone.

       Also I remember I wanted him to fall 1 more pick in the draft bc Hawks pretty sure had very next pick. Actually next 2 picks. Took Schroder and Noguira or whatever his name was. Schroder was good, but Lucas wasnt. We traded him to Raptors and I think hes out of the league now.

     You cannot be ‘right’ when you hype tens of players, and then one of them turns out to be great. EB used to hype each and every promising Greek player, but most of them never made it to the NBA.

    Of course, according to EB, you have to factor in anti-Greek racism… As if Americans even knew Greece is a country rather than, say, tall Europeans with a long-winded name.

    Yeah I was going to pretty much say the same but Gronounours beat me to it. EuroBaller literally hyped tons of Greeks, 99% of them didn’t even get drafted and the few who did were bounced out of the league in a couple years. Just because 1 ended up good shouldn’t garner him any props.

    I’m going to hype up the top 100 Americans next year, and when 1 turns out good in a couple years I’ll be expecting a post about how great of a prophet I am. See how silly it looks now?

    Racism aside, EB was entertaining for sure, but definitely no scout.

    How many prospects has Euro baller been dead wrong on? 

    How many times has he admitted to being dead wrong and a borderline troll?

    On a lighter note, I miss EB and others like him, they were hilarious at times…

    Speaking of eating crow, I must admit I doubted Luka big time, compared him to guys like Vasilije Micic, Nemanja Nedovic, Ognen Jaramaz and Nando de Colo. 

     

    He is the real deal.

      But I still dont think he’s a Modern NBA franchise player, I think he’ll be a very good Point forward who can HELP a team contend eventually, I see him as a more athletic Hedo Turkaglo
