ZouldiersParticipantInteresting to see how a Sexton-Garland would work? Could the Cavs end up trading Sexton?
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:12pm #1134901

HitsterParticipantGarland to Cavs is interesting are they going to use Sexton perhaps in the SG role as he didn’t average a high amount of assists this season just gone. I’d assume that they would play together and a lot of teams effectively run a double PG backcourt.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:19pm #1134903

BlueRivers25ParticipantThe Wolves draft Culver over White. Means they believe Tyus Jones can run the point with Culver/Wiggins on the wings.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 5:24pm #1135004
JDB12ParticipantI’m more than heart broken we didn’t take White as a Wolves fan. Scoring lead guards are what win in today’s NBA and I think White will be a star… Hopefully the Nets let Dlo go and we can pick him up…

Arc12345ParticipantI really loved the pick for the Wizards and I truly agree with Chauncey Billups comparison – a YOUNG Kawhi Leonard.
I believe he’s going to work his ass off and develop his shot and handle to become a great small forward. All of the tools are there.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:45pm #1134913

OhCanada-ParticipantYep I agree. Ive been comparing him to a "young Kawhi" all year. He plays a very fundimentally sound game and is always thinking about what the smart play is. Cerebral player.
Also. Man when I do my draft grades I gotta give the Hawks a C or something. You come away with Hunter and Reddish when at 10 and 17 you couldve gotten Doumbaya and Porter Jr.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:52pm #1134920
Arc12345ParticipantI like the Reddish pick. That’s good value for someone with his level of talent. Worth the risk in my opinion as I believe his talent is undeniable.
The Hunter pick…I just can’t get behind it. I see him being a severely less valuable NBA player than Reddish and for what we gave up to get him, that’s unacceptable. Depending on how this shakes out it could’ve been something like: Hachimura, Reddish, Bol/Herro, and Williams/Edwards.
That kills me.
0

-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:09pm #1134968

Evan_MilbergParticipantVery happy with the Wizards taking Haichimura. Most fans wanted Reddish or Doumbouya, but Haichimura was the smart pick. He’s got a lower ceiling than other forwards in this draft, but he’s going to bring an infusion of some much-needed energy and he fits well with their personnel. I see him filling the role Oubre had before he was traded.

0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:48pm #1134916

Snatalini247ParticipantI get that hes an NBA ready shooter and all but isn’t Bridges just the same thing with a lot more D… Suns got over their point guard fetish now to just have a wing fetish
0-

0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 2:48pm #1134918
The GoatParticipantPhoenix are jokng right? They could’ve got him 10 picks later easily! I thought the Cavs just jumped in to squeeze an extra asset out if Minny and they were going to flip Garland and Culver. This is a major surprise twist in this deal.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 3:14pm #1134927

BlueRivers25ParticipantCam is a nice shooter but he’s not a 4 and cant defend on the wings. Could of gotten Cam Johnson in the 20s.

The GoatParticipantIt’s still a decent return for Phoenix – Saric and Johnson for #6 – and I guess it’s a lot of shooting they have now with Booker as well. Ayton will be able to operate, and a so-so shooter like Rozier or Rubio can get picked up as a FA.

juves4783Participantevidently, i spent a lot of wasted time trying to get my mock draft close. last pick right was at 5… wow, worst year ever.

OhCanada-ParticipantForgot to put Samanic in my mock. I knew he had a 1st round promise after the combine though never thought hed go this high.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 3:38pm #1134948

ZouldiersParticipantLittle is dropping like whoa. Spurs pick Samanic. Typical Spurs pick I guess
0-

OhCanada-ParticipantWhy they gotta always be asking questions about dead relatives. Fucking media pisses me off.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 3:44pm #1134956
Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantNot a huge fan of the sixers moving up to get thybulle. Sixers need shooting and I thought they could’ve probably got thybulle at 24 anyway.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 3:47pm #1134958
juves4783Participanti heard that thybulie had a promise with OKC.
0 -

OhCanada-ParticipantThybulle reminds me of Danny Green decent pick for a playoff team.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 3:59pm #1134961

MkadozaParticipantI know I’m reaching because of appearence, but Thybulle got some Thabo Sefalosha in his game.

BleedGreen808ParticipantI’m very dissppointed that Boston let Brandon Clarke go past them at 20. Hope Boston makes some good picks at 24 and 33 to make up for it.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:02pm #1134962
The GoatParticipantLittle and Bol slipping badly. Some major surprises. Tacko could get picked the way this is going!
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:02pm #1134963

MkadozaParticipantYou think Bol Bol giving off too many Thon Maker / Johnathan Bender vibes?
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:03pm #1134964
Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI’d go Claxton if I’m okc here
0-

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantOr reach on Bazley I guess lol
0

MkadozaParticipantBazley goes before Little. Holy crapola.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:07pm #1134967

OhCanada-ParticipantLooks like 11-40 is anybodys guess in this draft. GM’s seem to have very different opinions on the talent levels here and guys are just picking BPA on their draft boards. Reminds me of the 2016 draft.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:09pm #1134969

CynthiaParticipantThought my Thunder was going to get a steal with either Bol Bol or Little, but Bazley not too bad.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:12pm #1134970
The GoatParticipantTy Jerome to Phoenix means they have lights out 3 point shooting with Booker, Johnson and Saric
0-

OhCanada-ParticipantYou called that one. Great pick by the Suns.
0

ZouldiersParticipantDamn. Portland drafting Little to possibly replace Aminu. Great pick
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:18pm #1134974

BlueRivers25ParticipantLittle poormans Moe Harkless, short Aminu.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:19pm #1134972

Bad DogParticipantIt appears that teams picking in the mid to late first are targeting specialist types or players with an NBA ready skill. Guys like Little or Bol are probably considered to be too much of project types for most playoff teams.
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:24pm #1134976

ZouldiersParticipantBol Bol, Keldon and Kabengele are still available wow
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:25pm #1134977

Evan_MilbergParticipantSo much for the Fernando and Kabengele hype. SMH. After all the post-combine noise, I’m gonna be annoyed if these guys slip to the 2nd round.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:26pm #1134978

OhCanada-ParticipantIm buying a 2nd round pick asap. These guys are still talented players idc who decides to pass on them.

Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:26pm #1134979

0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:46pm #1134989
juves4783Participantguess i’m wondering what was the deal with all the claxton hype. i had him at 10 because i convinced myself of an atlanta promise. guess his agent did a great job of smoke screening us…
0 -
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:51pm #1134990

Bad DogParticipantSpurs got a steal at 29 with Keldon Johnson. If any team is capable of extracting a player’s talent, it’s the Spurs.
0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 4:53pm #1134991

MkadozaParticipantSpurs are killing this draft. In 4 years and Johnson and Samanic are top 10 player from this drafts, no one will be surprised.

0-
Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 6:06pm #1135020
SwatLakeCityParticipantYeah, me too. I have 80 points so far. Usually by this time I’m in the 90’s or close to 100. This is such a weak draft with a ton of role players. Always hard to mock these kind of drafts.

The GoatParticipantAtlanta has ended up with Hunter, Reddish and Fernando. Hawks fans happy with that? Not bad to add to Young, Huerter, Bembry, Spellman and Collins. Thats 8 young guys that are going to get a lot of reps together in real NBA minutes.

OhCanada-ParticipantHawks got Fernando? Yeah Arc better be happy with that one, rounds out the whole draft for them.

Arc12345ParticipantRelatively happy – Hawks continue to overthink their top pick but whatever.

SwatLakeCityParticipantWhen did the Jazz get the 50th pick from the Pacers? I thought they only had the 53rd after they traded for Mike Conley with the 23rd pick. Did the Pacers just get Rubio, and the Jazz dealt the 53rd pick to select at 50?

The GoatParticipantI don’t get this Culver pick. They gave away Saric. They just got Okogie and are paying Wiggins crazy money. Thats Minny !!

ZouldiersParticipantBPA. Obviously they wanted Garland but the Cavs got him thus the Culver pick.

OhCanada-ParticipantMariol Shayok goes to Philly and I think thats a great pick by them. He should be a role player as a rookie.

Wahoo757ParticipantToo frail, average athlete, not a tough defender, and not good enough offensively off the ball. I’d be surprised if he lasts more than a couple years.

OhCanada-ParticipantDid you watch him this year because he was absolutely amazing off the ball.

BleedGreen808ParticipantMan this was probably my hardest draft to mock. I haven’t tallied it up but I missed at least 6 guys who ended up getting drafted.

khaled_a_dParticipantNope, 2013 was still the hardest one to mock
In 2019 you at least get top3 right, in 2013 no one got 1st pick right

BleedGreen808Participant2015 was my first mock so I’m assuming this was my worst year yet.

khaled_a_dParticipantAny thoughts on Roby? Is he gonna be anything more than a 2 way player next couple of years?

ZouldiersParticipantNo Tacko Fall wow. Damn undrafted free agency is lit once again

Posted on: Thu, 06/20/2019 - 6:47pm #1135040
SwatLakeCityParticipantKnew he would go undrafted. Centers his size just aren’t really needed anymore in the NBA. The Warriors proved that with their dyanasty, which now just ended. Its all about small ball. I still had him in my mock just because I kept seeing his name in other mocks and this site’s in the late second round. I had him at 54, but I wasn’t sold on it, and was more thinking he would go undrafted.

The GoatParticipantJalen Lecque signed a 4 yr 2yr guaranteed deal with PHX as an undrafted FA. !
Saric Jerome Lecque Johnson ends up ok in my books

SwatLakeCityParticipantStill questioning the Cam Johnson pick at 11. They could have gotten him much lower. Where does he fit on their depth chart? They already have Josh Jackson, and they drafted Mikal Bridges last year. True they traded away TJ Warren, but there is still quite a log jam at the 3. Johnson is too small to play the 4. He’s perfect for the 3, but not for Phoenix, just too many wings they still have.

SwatLakeCityParticipantDraft is over Kings just selected Vanja Marinkovic with the 60th pick. A SG/SF out of Serbia. Notable Un-drafted players are:
- Tacko Fall
- Kris Wilkes
- Joshua Obiesie
- Brian Bowen
- Louis King
- Ky Bowman
- Lugentz Dort
- Jontay Porter
- Adam Mokoka
- Jalen Lecque (just signed with the Suns)
My total mock draft points score is 82 This is my lowest score since I think 2013 when I had 79 points. I don’t count 2010 and 2009, since I just started joining this site in 2009 and I was still learning how it all worked out. 2011 was when I started applying all that I learned. Man, was this a hard draft to mock. So many players that wounded up being drafted who I didn’t even have on my big board. (I think I counted 9 total).

khaled_a_dParticipantWould love the Mavs to take a chance on either Naz or Jontay for undrafted players.
Both are talented bigs with size0 -
