 Interesting to see how a Sexton-Garland would work? Could the Cavs end up trading Sexton?

 Garland to Cavs is interesting are they going to use Sexton perhaps in the SG role as he didn’t average a high amount of assists this season just gone. I’d assume that they would play together and a lot of teams effectively run a double PG backcourt.

The Wolves draft Culver over White. Means they believe Tyus Jones can run the point with Culver/Wiggins on the wings.

I really loved the pick for the Wizards and I truly agree with Chauncey Billups comparison – a YOUNG Kawhi Leonard.

I believe he’s going to work his ass off and develop his shot and handle to become a great small forward. All of the tools are there.

 It’s still a decent return for Phoenix – Saric and Johnson for #6 – and I guess it’s a lot of shooting they have now with Booker as well. Ayton will be able to operate, and a so-so shooter like Rozier or Rubio can get picked up as a FA.

 I’d say Little is going next to the Spurs but I get the feeling they may go with Claxton

evidently, i spent a lot of wasted time trying to get my mock draft close.  last pick right was at 5…  wow, worst year ever.

I had Spurs getting Samanic at 29…they should have went for Little at 19 I feel like he fell right in their lap and is their type of player.

 Not a huge fan of the sixers moving up to get thybulle. Sixers need shooting and I thought they could’ve probably got thybulle at 24 anyway.

I’m very dissppointed that Boston let Brandon Clarke go past them at 20.  Hope Boston makes some good picks at 24 and 33 to make up for it.

It appears that teams picking in the mid to late first are targeting specialist types or players with an NBA ready skill. Guys like Little or Bol are  probably considered to be too much of project types for most playoff teams.

So much for the Fernando and Kabengele hype. SMH. After all the post-combine noise, I’m gonna be annoyed if these guys slip to the 2nd round.

I’ve never seen teams pick so safely, usually half the first round is prospects. This draft is mind blowing.

guess i’m wondering what was the deal with all the claxton hype.  i had him at 10 because i convinced myself of an atlanta promise.  guess his agent did a great job of smoke screening us…

Atlanta has ended up with Hunter, Reddish and Fernando. Hawks fans happy with that? Not bad to add to Young, Huerter, Bembry, Spellman and Collins. Thats 8 young guys that are going to get a lot of reps together in real NBA minutes.

 When did the Jazz get the 50th pick from the Pacers? I thought they only had the 53rd after they traded for Mike Conley with the 23rd pick. Did the Pacers just get Rubio, and the Jazz dealt the 53rd pick to select at 50?

 I don’t get this Culver pick. They gave away Saric. They just got Okogie and are paying Wiggins crazy money. Thats Minny !!

Man this was probably my hardest draft to mock.  I haven’t tallied it up but I missed at least 6 guys who ended up getting drafted.  

 Any thoughts on Roby? Is he gonna be anything more than a 2 way player next couple of years?

My total mock draft points score is 82 This is my lowest score since I think 2013 when I had 79 points. I don’t count 2010 and 2009, since I just started joining this site in 2009 and I was still learning how it all worked out. 2011 was when I started applying all that I learned. Man, was this a hard draft to mock. So many players that wounded up being drafted who I didn’t even have on my big board. (I think I counted 9 total).

Would love the Mavs to take a chance on either Naz or Jontay for undrafted players.
Both are talented bigs with size
