uabasketballParticipantHello everyone I have just recently joined the forum and wanted to post a topic I constantly argue about with my friends and see what others thoughts are.
My top 5 point guards for right now in the league would be:
1. Chris paul
2. Deron Williams
3. Derek Rose
4. Rajon Rondo
5. Russel Westbrook (even though I hardly consider him a point guard)
Let me know what your thoughts are if any, im always open for a debate.

FastAndFuriousParticipantFrom a true PG standpoint:
1. Rondo
2. CP3
3. D.Will
4. Rose
5. Westbrook
But my top 5 overall:
1. Westbrook- Yes he’s a chucker, but you can’t ignore the fact that he is the reason OKC has improved and went further and further in the post season, his stats have went up each year, and his TO’s dropped significantly this year from last year’s playoffs, the Thunder go as far as Westbrook takes them.
2. D.Rose- Before the injury the Chicago Bulls seemed like this was the year they challenge the Heat for a spot in the Finals, MVP at 22, how he returns from injury will tell it all.
3. Rondo- Has a ring, is the best passer in the league and is the reason the Celtics still threaten teams in the Playoffs, not really going to harp on the "IF’ he gets a jumpshot he will be better, NO, he’s 26 years old he hasn’t gotten one so he’s probably not going to ever get one, but Rondo is what he is a big time playmaker, and special talent.
4. CP3- Reason why the Clippers are back to being a "Contender" somewhat, special talent, maybe the best leader in the NBA, needs more playoff success at this point in his career.
5. D Will- Was on a terrible team last year, let’s see what he can do this year.

5.) Tony Parker
4.)Rajon Rondo
3.)Derrick Rose
2.)Deron Williams
1.) CP3
IF we are Talking best "Pg" Period then
1.) Derrick Rose (most dominant Pg with the biggest Impact on a team)
2.) CP3 (Best floor General + Can Score himself)
3.) Deron Williams (Best Power PG in the league)
4.)Russel Westbrook(Most athletic)
5.)tie between Rajon and Parker
