The8thDeadlySinParticipanthaha….What if? IF he does then they could make the first round of the playoffs and get swept. IF i was 6’8 i would be in the NBA. IF he was going to return to his prime, they wouldnt be shopping him. IF I were the clippers, i would take what i could get for him.

Mr. BasketballParticipanti meant golden state form from a year ago which was around all-star form. stop acting like this extremely unrealistic. he sucked last year bcuz he had no explosion due to being out of shape. he is now doing 2 a days in the clippers workout facility to get in shape for this season.

I highly doubt Baron Davis comes back in great shape next season. If he does I will eat whatever crow you shove in front of me.
Sorry dude, but you are some fan. Way to stay optimistic!

IndianaBasketballParticipantIf it were up to me, I’d trade Baron Davis. He’s a talented player, but he let down the Clippers last season. After they gave him a huge contract, he came into the season out of shape. He was supposed to be the leader of the team & lead by example. He did the opposite. There were rumors of him clashing with the coach, not working hard at rehabbing his injuries & not wanting to watch game film/attend film sessions. In my opinion, he gave up on the team last year. I think Chris Kaman packed in it early too. I’d trade both of them.
Draft:
1. Blake GriffinKeep:
1. Eric Gordon – Will be the face of the franchise, along w/ Griffin. Work on ball handling, mid-range game & playing point guard.
2. DeAndre Jordan – The future at center. Athleticism is similar to Dwight Howard. All he needs is more playing time. Work on his free-throw shooting.
3. Steve Novak – One of the best 3-PT shooters in the NBA. You need a guy like this on your team. Needs to work on ball handling & defense, so he’s not a liability on the floor.Keep, but available if a good opportunity presents itself:
1. Al Thornton – An athletic scorer, but needs to learn how to play w/o the ball more. He can’t isolate every play. It stops ball movement. I don’t know how much upside he has.
2. Marcus Camby – Still a great defender, rebounder & a good role model for younger players like Jordan & Griffin to follow… However I think a lot of teams who are looking to win a championship will be after him.
3. Chris Kaman – Either he or Camby has to go. I like Camby better, but Kaman is younger w/ better offensive game.
4. Mike Taylor – A fast, quick, atheltic & hungry player. Needs to understand his role though. That’s making good decisions w/ the ball, playing great defense & making the right pass. Stop overdribbling & trying to be a “star”.Vets w/ inexpensive contracts:
1. Fred Jones – Good pick up. Can play/defend both guard positions.
2. Mardy Collins – Played good ball when he was healthy. Good decision maker & makes the right pass.
3. Brian Skinner – Decent veteran 3rd string big man. Plays hard, though he can make some bone headed decisions.Trade:
1. Zach Randolph – A “Me 1st” player who plays no D… Won’t fit w/ Griffin. Has too many off the court issues & not a good role model for the younger guys.
2. Baron Davis – Overdribbles the ball & rarely makes the right pass… Not the leader he thinks he is.
3. Ricky Davis – A “Me 1st” player who no longer can score like he used to… Off the court issues.0 -
