If you didnt know Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose will be out of the Olympics so who do you think the strating five will be?

I think it will look like this:

    Chris Paul PG

    Kobe Bryant SG

    Kevin Durant SF

    Lebron James PF

    Tyson Chandler C

Dwayne Wade and Melo will be logging lots of time off the bench as well as Kevin Love…

The Jazz have arguably the best cap position of any team in the league. Almost all of their current roster players are either pending free agents or players with team options. The Jazz are likely picking up their team options on Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter, Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks. They have also been hinting at a contract extension for Paul Millsap, so the odds that the Jazz hit free agency in July with a salary cap full of cap holds is super slim, however they will be the team with the most room possible, which puts Utah at the head of the free agent class in 2013.

And he happily pointed out how good the Lakers seem to be and how much he truly enjoys playing with Steve Nash.

“He makes (my game) a lot easier. I can move without the ball and just trust that he’ll make the right decision. It’s as simple as that. I really don’t have to work (as) hard to get opportunities. I find openings within the defense, and he makes the defense pay.”

When Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant finally emerged from the Los Angeles Lakers’ locker room late in the first quarter, they got a standing ovation just for walking to their seats.hfdg3434

The Lakers’ fans shouldn’t worry. Their big stars expect to be out of street clothes and back in uniform very soon – and for much bigger games than an exhibition in the Inland Empire.fare23

Lee admitted that the entire process has been frustrating, and he said he’s never dealt with such a long succession of injuries before. But for what it’s worth, the groin feels better, and the knee is still doing well. For now, Lee will need to prove himself, and do it fast. The prospect of spending the winter in Sioux Falls, S.D. with the Timberwolves’ D-League affiliate is not an appealing one.

Much of the cast that supported Aldridge in past seasons is now gone. Blazers starters Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby were traded away. Brandon Roy retired, but has come back this season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Center Joel Przybilla signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The onus is now on Harden to prove that he is a max player. He’s a good player, yes, and until he choked in the NBA Finals last season he was quite a force for the Thunder. The reality, however, is that Harden is not currently a max player, and unless he takes several steps forward this season his next contract will not reflect a maximum offer. Houston is the perfect place for him to prove he should get that kind of consideration, as the Rockets are team lacking veteran direction at the moment.

“He is tested. He knows who he is, which is comforting as a coach when a guy goes in and he knows what he is supposed to do and who he is and not going through the wars for the first time. Now we just have to get Terrence up to speed to perform like that each and every day and be consistent with it. And he will. Terrence is a talented, talented young man and his upside is off the charts. He just has to get up to speed on the NBA right now.

“We don’t just have one person, we have to come together as a team,” says Patterson. “We lost all that, pretty much, veteran experience. We do have … Omer (Asik), same with Shaun Livingston … and Tony [Douglas]. We have players who have been in the league for a while but for all of us to be successful, we all got to come out as leaders, myself included, and just help out these young guys as quick as possible and build that team chemistry as quick as possible and just buy into what the coaches are saying.
