     I know I really don’t.  Part of that is due to the lack of a hometown team (I live in Indy), but baseball just doesn’t keep my attention.  Games are too long, season is too long.

    Not having a hometown team would definitely make baseball totally different.  I have been fortunate enough to always have the Phillies so I am more jacked than ever for the start of baseball.

     They started the season today in Japan, the game are on tape delay in the morning on MLB Network. I’m a Mets fan and they are really bad, but I still like to watch them and other teams too.

    I am a Twins fan and I like watching their games. I like how there are games almost every day and whenever there is nothing else to to, it is relaxing to just plop down and turn on the game. That being said, I often start watching the game only to end up reaching for my phone or laptop and just have the game on in the background. I enjoy watching pretty much any football or basketball game on tv, but I cant even attempt to watch a baseball game that doesnt involve the Twins.

    That was me for the last five years with the Mariners. Loved the team to death, but couldn’t stay focused during any game that didn’t involve them. I try to do something productive during every game, so I don’t feel like I’m wasting three hours every day. I’ll write something or play the piano to stay busy.
