Johnny ChillThe top 7 are pretty clear: rose, paul, williams, rondo, westbrook, parker, nash.
What about the next 7? That seems like a more interesting discussion.
Heres are a list of point guards in not particular order yet that should be consider the next best 7.
Whats your top 7?
Wall, Lowry, Irving, Rubio, Lin, Lawson, Jennings, Curry, Evans, Conly, Holiday, Collison,

db24kb24ParticipantI agree top 10 is so boring, everytime a pg has a good game ppl wanna change the order. From now on we should just do 7-14 or 10-20, thats more interesting.
I dont have collison in top 14. I’d rather go Calderon.

BELLY333333Participant“I kind of feel like we all have a job to do,” Sacks said of the media. “We all have to communicate a message. We all have to tell our story. I think if you’re willing to work with people, I think we can work well together. For me, it’s a new process but it’s not too daunting.”

trwe32332ParticipantIt’s a fair assessment. I think most fans, players, and coaches alike know that flopping is a problem, and doesn’t belong in the league. The trouble is, how do you fix it? Will a policy like this actually work? My main concern would be how it is enforced, since judging whether somebody is flopping is completely subjective. Granted, some, if not most, are pretty obvious, but what happens the first time someone gets suspended or fined heftily for a controversial flop?

lwokesaParticipantWaiters not only controlled the offense, he made some fantastic passes in traffic. One resulted in an easy layup for fellow rookie Tyler Zeller (10 points, four rebounds) in the first half. Another resulted in a wide-open baseline three for small forward Omri Casspi (nine points, 3-for-5 shooting, all threes).

lwokesaParticipantThe Suns, who put up 83 points through three quarters Friday, finished the night with 30 assists and shot 51 percent from the field. Their 28-15 first-quarter blitz included 71 percent shooting (5 of 7 from 3-point range), due to a couple of things they didn’t accomplish during Wednesday’s preseason-opening loss to the Kings in Sacramento.j5u65

lwokesaParticipant“Alvin has had that in his playbook for years,” Suns assistant Igor Kokoskov said.
So even though Gentry and the Suns’ coaching staff is wisely mixing in tactics familiar to four players who used to play for Adelman (Scola and Dragic in Houston; Michael Beasley and Wesley Johnson last season in Minnesota), a lot of the offensive flow is supposed to look familiar.
The Suns will continue to seek a quick tempo, using ball screens off of Corner sets and other designed quick-hitters.’09p80980 -

lwokesaParticipant“It’s taking us a little time in making the right reads,” Suns assistant coach Elston Turner, who assisted Adelman for several season in Sacramento and Houston, said when asked about the Corner offense before the game. “But we’ll get it. It fits our guys pretty well.”
Beasley, who made half of his 8 shots and scored 10 points Friday, is working at small forward and – thanks to the Corner keeping both sides of the defense occupied – could have several post-up opportunities without weak-side defensive corruption.089up8

lwokesaParticipant“It was just a good win,” Gentry said. “I think for us … we’re trying to create a winning environment, so first and foremost, I think you have to do it at home.”
Following practice Friday at the Lakers’ training facility in El Segundo, reporters wasted no time informing him that Smush Parker was offended about comments Bryant made regarding why his former teammate doesn’t belong in the NBA..;/ujhlyuh

sa3234234ParticipantIt’s probably not a scenario that Harden’s camp will enjoy, going from a contender to a team that is in the beginning stages of a rebuild, but with his contract potentially making him a free agent next summer, he can explore other things if he doesn’t like what he hears from the Rockets.

sa3234234Participant“Yeah definitely, my kids are getting older, we have real conversations now,” Curry said. “They have their favorite players and I’d like to be one of their favorite players – not just because I’m their dad. So that’s definitely added more motivation for me, in the summertime working out and everything. Just staying in the gym and watching my diet and all of that.”
