Woj: Davis is a Laker

 Good return for a guy going into his last year of a deal who has a history of injuries but there are injury concerns about Ingram and Ball too before you throw in all the Big Baller circus. Getting the extra first rounders apart from this year’s 4th pick is good work by NOP. But these will be in the LBJ era so they will likely not be lottery picks.

The Lakers also get their post LBJ building point and can attract top FAs around him. It will be interesting to see if Rondo and Chandler return as the veterans to back up the big two. Plus Lakers will be a plum target for FAs chasing a ring. Guys like JJ Reddick, Marcus Morris, Derrick Rose, Paul Millsap, Robin Lopez, Taj Gibson etc spring to mind.

isn’t this the same offer the Lakers proposed at the deadline? As a Lakers fan really hate to see Ball go. People put so much pressure on him to be the next Magic. That was beyond reality. But he’s still a guy capable of becoming an all star. He’s an outstanding defender.I’m really digging the Pelicans new lineup potentially battling for a playoff berth next season. 

 I feel like AD just isn’t going to like playing with Bron… we’ll see what happen tho!

 Hope Lakers know Kawhi is coming for sure because giving up both Ball and Ingram in the deal is alot.

It would be so funny if AD hates playing with Lebron (possible) and leaves for another "up and coming team" next year like…. The Pels (insert smiley face here)

 I don’t see it as a good return at all for Davis, #4 is overrated as it a 3 guys draft, Ball right now is not a good player or a net positive, Ingram might not ever cleared to play basketball again with his condition could ends up chronic and he still have long way to become a complete player, Hart is okay player, all those future picks doesn’t mean much as Lakers not gonna be in to lottery for those years… Bad trade for pelicans who failed to include Kuzma the Lakers best asset…
