If you still don’t think Ingram fits well with James & Davis then I’m sure you will find plenty of teams who will trade for him for something they want.

 of all the lakers assets, its ingram i would like to see traded the most. Not that i think he is worse than kuz, ball or the #4 pick. But just that he is the guy im most comfortable with losing. I think lakers need to either keep kuz or ball. But at end of the day, any scenario of giving up guys that results in lebron and davis being together will probably be better than what lakers have at the moment. 

Compared to the offer they got at the trade deadline – this offer is a joke.

That’s exactly what you get for trying to be slick. I hope the Lakers don’t budge and keep Kuzma. Pelicans will give in eventually once they realize they might lose AD for nothing.

The Pels probably didn’t ask for Ingram with their counter because he potentially has a Chris Bosh like injury (the one that derailed his entire career!) So they don’t know what they are getting with him. With the counter they know exactly what they are getting. They don’t want to end up like the Cavs when they traded Kyrie for Isaiah Thomas and other players and got fleeced because of how badly injured Thomas was. 

The Lakers may know more about Ingram’s injury but their silence leads me to believe that Ingram’s is very similar to Bosh’s and it’s scaring them. They probably want to get rid of him in this potential Davis trade. And of course they seem to have made keeping Kuzma a priority.

 Ingram will also be due a hefty 2nd contract from next summer so if there are health issues then teams may be reluctant to invest heavily in that. NOP have to realize that Davis’s contract is running down and there are injury issues plus with Zion in place they have an elite building block. 

Holding out for too much could mean they get too little so taking any sort of fair offer now may be best for them.

There is talk about Boston still going in for AD put if they give up young talent to get AD and Kyrie decides to head to say Brooklyn then are they any better off?

With KD injured it proably gives the Pels more leverage as it takes the top FA off the table for probably this year and teams may start thinking if we get AD this summer we can possibly look at KD next summer if he is sound,

 Pelicans should demand #4 and both Ingram and Kuzma instead of Ball, Ball as a PG who can’t shot is a bad fit for Zion… with #4 they should draft Garland

 NOP if they are going to do the deal with the Lakers will likely want it done before draft time as they may have different ideas who they would take at 4. Garland at 4 might be a bit of a reach and then with Holiday on the team who handles the ball. But if they did like Garland then it would be worth giving the Cavs a call and seeing if they want to do business and say 5 and 26 for 4. Cavs get more draft options and NOP get an additional pick.

 Yes if that rumored counter of the Pelicans from Thursday is true the Lakers should have already jumped on it.  If you are the Lakers you need to keep one of Ingram or Ball in an AD trade unless you know Kawhi is locked up for sure then you can give both Ingram and Ball up.

 Ball/Zion would be fun.  Although I agree that Garland would be nice, too.

Ball, Hart, Kuzma, and Zion would be a new "big four".

Who should they pick at 4? 

Bol Bol might be interesting.  Or, Nic Claxton but that would leave them with very little shooting.

Sekou Doumbouya might be the most "talented" player on the board at 4 but I am not sure how he would fit with Zion Williamso.  Both are basically combo forwards who might be able to play some small ball 5.

what about coby white at 4 for the pels?

6th pick, Bucks 2020 for Ball ? these picks going to the pels ? or maybe a salary dump(Hill) ? or Tj Warren involved, 32nd pick 2019 ?, less picks for the lakers or suns ?

I think the lakers should keep Kuzma, he’s overrated(he should have been an elite 6th men last year) can’t rebound, not a defender, 30% 3pts shooter ain’t your ideal winning basketball floor spacer PF, but he’s still a better fit with lebron and AD, he’s cheaper(healthier) and they have one more year of cost control.

You’d find 30 mins, a dozen shots for him, great value for 2MD.

I like Ingram, he’s younger, a better player, higher ceiling but he’s a SF, he plays for and he wants to be paid…

The 3rd piece behind lebron and AD should be a true and good guard, scoring guard(more than a true non shooting PG, or another SF).

Ilgauskas Larry Hughes….Bosh Wade….Love Irving….Davis ?….

Maybe the lakers should go after beal and wait for AD in 2020.

I want Ball in PHX, he needs us as much as we need him(timeline, personnality, skillsets) we’re probably his best fit in the nba, he’d help a lot to unleash Ayton offensively(what a proper entry pass could do to his game), while covering 27 PPG Booker defensively…

You don’t want a chucker, inefficient, defensive scrub lead guard at the one, when you have a 27 PPG SG and a realistic 60% FG 80% FT 20+-10+ big for years.

He’d help the rebounding(there’s no fooking PF in that team ATM), the hustle board, high pace, low usage, he would find the young cutters, runners, "shooters", athletes to maximize their skills(efficiency).

Let him the ball to be kidd in PHX.

 Am I the only one a little bit hesitant about an LBJ/AD pairing?

AD is basically a more talented Chris Bosh. Playing with LBJ, Bosh never got the chance to be the player he was in Toronto. Maybe after a year of injury and failure LBJ is ready to be less ball-dominant, but maybe not.

And even if it works out between them, say you have LBJ, AD and one of Ingram or Kuzma. Then you’re left scrambling to sign guys who could even crack Toronto or Golden St.’s rotation. Can that win the West? It brings back memories of that Houston team with Olajuwon, Barkley and Drexler (then Pippen). No backcourt, no bench.
