If you were GM, and the scenario is that you could sign either Leonard or Harden for only 2 years, who would you go with? It’s a tough one… before the season started, I would have said Harden. Now – not so sure. I think I’m tilted to Leonard. What have you done for me lately matters with that title. What do you guys think?

two way player, better rebounder, seems easier to play with (rather than have to "play off James Harden")

Easy Kawhi Leonard.  Two way player and proven winner.

Easy one, Kawhi. He is as good on defense as Harden is on offense plus he gets you 25-30 points a game. Also I think he can fit into any system more easily.

It could be Harden, but he’s too busy making the game hard. Kawhi makes it easy. He could care less about hero ball. He has a complete offensive game and is a ridiculous defender. Harden can keep settling for numbers and losing every year.

You need to change the way you play to take in Harden. Kawhi just fits in. Kawhi has proven he can win.

Kawhi, Harden has’nt won anything to speak of since Durant went. Sure they make the playoffs but that’s it. They’re not a serious team to worry about in playoffs.

Regular readers of my comments on this forum will undoubtedly know about my hatred of James Harden’s game. The guy has all the physical tools you want, yet chooses to only play one half of the game. That, for me, is unforgivable. Yeah he might have improved a bit this season, but he’s still a long way behind where he should be. Leonard, who I’ve also criticised over his San Antonio exit, plays hard on EVERY possession. He takes none off. He might not have the innate scoring talent of Harden, bet he damn sure outworks him. I take Leonard and don’t even think twice.

Hate to disagree with you because your one of my favs on this site but bruh…Kawhi takes plays off. He’s human. Its not like he’s this perfect being he just paces it properly and when you go at him he stops you so they dont even try. Theres plenty of plays off when the defence wont even attack you lol.

A little hyperbole on my part. All I meant to point out was Kawhi plays hard on both sides of the ball, Harden just one. I did exaggerate, so my bad.

Harden for regular season and Kawhi for play offs.

    Player One: Elite Offense
Player Two: Elite Offense + Elite Defense

How is this even a debate?
