BallerScriptParticipantAfter being a no-show at the combine, Hachimura had many speculating that he may have recieved a promise. Rumours soon started to spread about the Timberwolves giving him a promise to take him 11th.
Although… it seems that this isn’t the case as the T-Wolves have currently been working out other candidates such as Sekou Doumbouya and P.J. Washington who would play the same role as Hachimura.
Are they possibly shopping Wiggins for a late lottery pick? Is the Hachimura rumour bullsh*t? If so, where does Rui fall?

The GoatParticipantMaybe theres a promise but it wasn’t the Wolves. Maybe they are holding out hope they can move Wiggins for a late lotto pick. Maybe it was a bullshit rumour and there’s no promise.
It’s a tough draft to work out. I think Rui will be a good pro though. He doesn’t have the ceiling of others but he’s a solid pick.
He’s potentially a good fit in Atlanta and Minny, but to Boston as a replacement for Morris would be as late as I think he’ll go.

HobbyOGParticipantI could see him getting one from the Hornets..He fits what they’ve typically drafted over the years..
