    How quick things change – he also just dropped agent and expected to sign with Jayz roc nation. He is part owner of the nets and irving also just bought a house near there…

     Jay Z had to sell his part ownership of the Nets when Roc Nation started representing NBA players.

    I’m surprised more teams aren’t worried what adding Kyrie to their team will do to their chemistry. If I had a young team like the Nets I wouldn’t touch Kyrie especially if I didn’t have someone clearly better to help keep him in line.

       I am not liking Kyrie either.  I would much rather get de angleo russell for cheaper and try and get another FA or two such as

      Marcus Morris, JLamb, Bogdanvic, Korkmaz

         I just saw a report that the Nets and Tobias Harris have mutual interest. I don’t know how realistic it truly is, but Harris would make sense on the Nets.

    Lost in all this is that if Kyrie signs with the Nets and Russell leaves the Nets are missing out on one hell of a guard thats a good amount younger and seems to be maturing instead of regressing as a leader. It still seems unproven to me that Kyrie can actually win with out a guy like LeBron and the Nets have a real window of opportunity if they add another young stud to be one of the top nba teams for the next decade or so I’d hate to see them screw up what theyve been building doing the same dang thing again they did with that Boston trade

    Kyrie is a great player, but I wouldn’t want him on my team if I am Brooklyn . Negativity can spread like a virus and no amount of talent can make up for bad team chemistry. I just don’t see Kyrie as a good leader either. As others have said, he’s best as a #2 option both on the court and in the locker room. He seems like the type of guy who is happy when things are going well but blames others when things go wrong. You can’t have that from the best guy on your team.
