     Im not trying to troll, i truly believe with this game 4 getting away at the moment, that KD is happy. He has been srcutinized by the media for having to join a great roster which diminshes his rings/finals mvps. He then has his own teammate draymond green inform him that "we do not need you" in front of the whole team. Then the warriors proceed to finish off the rockets and sweep the blazers and some in the media legit said the warriors offense is smoother without KD demanding the ball and that him gone allows draymond to be more of a focal point running the show. 

    We all know KD is a sensitive dude who cares about what people say/think. He has to be happy to see them falling apart without him. Now he will have opportunity to come back and try to save the team. Or if he doesnt play and the raptors win, he still gets to say "what was that dont me crap everyone?"

     Doubt he plays this series. I wouldn’t say he’s happy but maybe a little snake smile in the back of his mind

    Really didnt wanna say anything until the series is over just wanna get something through to everyone. Raptors are clearly the better team. Better team, better players, better chemistry, better talent, better franchise, better coach, better organization. 5-1 this season.

    I get it. Your gonna mention injuries right? Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson injuries. Load management. Better traning staff. Klay Thompson played 78 regular season games, Kevin Durant…78.

    We all know about Kawhi having 22 games off for rest to be ready for the playoffs, and it worked. But guess what, Lowry also had his rest days 15 games off and he was in and out of the lineup as well. Toronto had the most variations of starting lineups out of any NBA team up until the Allstar break (because once you get that far tanking teams will find anyone to throw minutes at and that stat becomes skewed). They also won homecourt advantage by beating the Warriors 2-0.

    So if anyone says Raptors are only up 3-1 because of Golden States injuries just remember. Raptors organization prepared for this and rested their players for this moment at risk of critisism from their massive fanbase and it paid off. Warriors did not manage fatigue and thats why their team is worn down.

       I wouldn’t get carried away. You cannot honestly believe Toronto would win in a 7 game series if Durant was healthy? Durant is argubly the best basketball player on the planet? It is a complete game changer haha. 

      Happy for Toronto, the gamble looks like it will pay off, and they say you need a bit of luck to win a championship sometimes, which definitely is the case here with no durant at all and a subpar Klay.

       Would the Raptors be in this position without Kawhi? Because thats the level of talent missing from the current Golden State roster. Saying youre the clearly better team when 3 of those 5 wins was missing the best player on either side of the ball is a stretch. 

      I mean congrats to your team, their playing EXCELLENT ball. Im not the type to put asterisks next to championships. A Title is a Title. But, be fair.

        The best player on either side of the ball??? You’re talking about Durant? I’ll give you he’s the best offensive player for the Warriors – but not even the best defensive player on his team and especially not in this series.

        I don’t want to hear anything about the Warriors injuries because it’s hardly mentioned the Warriors won a title when the Cavs were missing Kyrie and Love.

        The Warriors have had more luck than almost anyone in terms of championship runs. It’s finally run out.

          Agreed, they’re good but also been very lucky. They always seemed to play against the banged up teams in the playoffs. The Spurs could have beat them for two years but both years the Spurs had too many injuries. Last year the Rockets would have probably won if CP3 wasn’t injured. The list goes on, sure it’s all what-if’s but they’ve definely had an easy/lucky path to the finals for years now.

      Golden State benefited from Chris Paul going down last year. Two years ago, Kawhi goes down in Game 1 of the WCF with San Antonio up 23 in the third. The Warriors have caught a lot of breaks in this run, and now are catching a number of bad breaks at a bad time. It happens. LeBron’s run of 8 straight trips to the Finals has probably dulled people to the wear and tear associated with stringing together 100 game seasons.

       Agree with that article. Ive done plenty of injuries and to me it looked like an achilles.

      Achilles is one of the worst injuries to have – a torn achilles would prob be the worst injury.  It didn’t look like a tear as he would of been down on the floor in agaony.

      Achilles problems can take quite a while to recover from – it could take weeks or months.

      He will be heading into his 13th season next season, miles do add up and lets face it – he is not built like ronnie coleman.

      Any team that offers him anymore than 3 years is foolish…..

       Imagine if this was all a ploy by Durant and he has purposely said he was injured to wait for this moment where they are down 3-1 without him and he is there only hope. Then all of a sudden KD says he is right to go game 5 with all the extra rest and single handily brings back GSW from the gave. In his MVP speech he throws Draymond under the bus and says "you need me bitch and goodluck next year" and signs with NY.

     All I know is that if the raptors win this title will get the biggest asterisk in the history of the league. Not that it matters though if your a raptors fan. 

    And considering Durant hasn’t played basketball in over a month and isn’t even healthy enough to sit on the bench during the games I find it very hard to believe he’s just going to be able to come back, put on his superhero cape and carry them home. If he does try to play, he’s probably going to be extremely rusty and compromised.

       There is no asterisks when it comes to championships. Remember when Kevin Love AND Kyrie didn’t play in 2015 nba finals? If those guys were healthy Warriors don’t win it. Does that championship deserve and asterisk?

       They are still a championship contending team WITHOUT him, just because they aren’t playing up to par at the moment doesn’t change that.

        Don’t get me wrong. A championship is a championship and should always be celebrated regardless of the circumstances. To say that their is an “asterisk” next to it isn’t meant to take away from what Toronto is doing. Every team that wins a title needs some lucky circumstances to go in their favor. But the warriors team they are facing is very depleted right now and nowhere close to the team that won the past 2 championships.  Fair or not, people are always going to question if they could have beaten the warriors at their best. Same thing as when golden state won their first title or Cleveland without love and kyrie. 

        Say jordan had gotten hurt before the finals and the jazz went on to beat the bulls in 1997 or 1998. Do you really think there wouldn’t be some level of skepticism that they could’ve beaten Chicago at their best? That’s what I’m referring to here.

          See that’s the thing: nobody talks about the Warriors beating the Cavs in 2015 without Love and Kyrie. All they say is, "Warriors dynasty – KD back to back MVPs – potentially best team ever – etc."

          Nobody also talks about the Warriors playing less than full strength teams THROUGH OUT the playoffs for many of their title runs. I damn sure don’t want to hear anything about an asterisk being next to a Toronto championship when the Warriors have been so lucky during their title runs.

          Nobody would have said anything about the Jazz beating the Bulls without Jordan. It’s hardly ever mentioned that MJ was retired during those Rocket’s championships. 

          So the Warriors still have Steph (2 MVPs – first unanimous), Draymond (3 time all star, DPOY), Demarcus (4 time all star), and you want to put an asterisk next to Toronto if they win? Please.

     If Durant did return and do what LBJ did in 2016 and pull a team back from 3-1 down then he would be the hero. But if he’d been fit to play any part I think he would have played last night even if they thought that they could only get say 15 mins out of him. It would have given the team a lift too apart from what he might have done on court.

    I’m sure Oh Canada was the champagne on ice though already.

     LL said exactly what a lot of folks had been thinking. But titles don’t come easy. So wouldn’t it be more rewarding for KD if he equals Lebron in the number of titles,than privately hoping the team lose without u ?

     The Warriors don’t look like the team that has dominated the nba the past several seasons. They allowed the Clippers to win 2 games in the first round. Their defense has been nonexistent, too much 1 on 1, poor ball movement and Toronto’s length has caused them problems.
