No Meetings!

My sources are telling me Kawhi resigns. 

It’d be really tough to see him leaving after a championship. Than again, I also don’t think he’s going to willing to commit to Toronto long-term.  My guess is he signs a short-term deal with an opt out after next season.  

 I could still see him leaving…he’s a weird dude..he doesn’t want to be in the cold and wants to be in LA..he brings a championship it’s even easier for him to leave. 

 It’s a great Country don’t get me wrong, but it’s another Country. One in which they speak French. Yeah a lot of people speak English, but still it’s not the US. That’s either a positive, you love the whole Country behind you or you want the US and it’s a big negative.

Another thing is outside a few players the core of the team is old no? Like Gasol, Lowry, and Ibaka aren’t young. So a long-term deal isn’t a slam dunk in my book. I agree a shorter term keep my options open deal could be most likely. You just don’t know with this guy, he’s different. Only player in like 20 years to have issues with the Spurs, one of the better run teams in all of sports.

As a Celtic fan I hope he stays. I want Tatum and Brown battling him, it will help them reach their upsides and I enjoy a strong East. I want my team playing good players and having good teams to play, makes watching a lot of fun!

 Being from Massachusetts I will admit I didn’t know it was so broken up, yet still only 50% list English as their first language. My trips have always been to Montreal and it’s French French French and that’s not that far from Toronto. So I’m crazy surprised that no one speaks French in Toronto, when 80% speak it a few hours away.
