    I am well aware how unlikely a 4 team trade would be, but who says no and who doesn’t get what they want? 

    Teams: Chi, Nola, CLE, LAL

     

    Cavs Trade #5 to Chi for Kris Dunn + 7th pick. 

     

    CHI trades #5 to LAL for Lonzo

     

    LAL trades #4, #5, Kuzma, Ingram to NOLA for AD 

     

    NOLA sends pick #39 to CHI

     

    •Cavs get more of a true PG in Dunn allowing Sexton to move to the 2. (20.8ppg / .413% from 3 post all star game and only drop 2 spots in the draft. 

    •CHI gets who they covet, Lonzo, + 39th pick

    •Lakers Get AD and avoid taking on another very young player. 

    •Nola gets an absolute haul

    everybody else gets worse.

    NOP don’t enough for AD
    Cleveland doesnt help the development of Sexton
    and CHI gets Lonzo. Lonzo?!? instead of the 7th pick, which might be Coby White, Rui or Kabengele?

       I see why LA and Chicago does this, perhaps even New Orleans – not sure about Cleveland.

      LA gets AD. Done.

      Chicago gets off of Dunn which they want to do, they move up and they get Lonzo. From what I have been able to read, this would be a go.

      NO – not sure. Id have to think it would take more and would need to check on the health of Ingram. Its not a bad haul with #4, Kuzma – cant help but think other offers could top it, but thats only if BOS wants to push all the chips in, which, which they may not and if NY will put all their pieces in (Knox, Mitch, #3). This is a "maybe."

      CLE – really doubt this moves the needle. While I stand almost alone on Dunn island at this point (I am of the mindset the Bulls give him the last year to prove himself) because I like his size, defense and I think he can play off of the shooters/scorers the Bulls have (Lavine, Porter, Lauri) – and while it makes sense that he could play PG and put Sexton to SG (on offense) while switching back on Defense (id assume) not sure its enough to drop back 2 spots as they are a mortal lock to get White or Garland.

     I’d say everyone except the Lakers says no.

    Chi: Basically, the Bulls trade the 7th pick and Dunn for Lonzo Ball. Just based on value, this would be a poor move. I’m not even sure Ball is worth the 7th pick. He’s entering year three of four on his rookie deal and so far he’s basically a Ricky Rubio type that is injury prone. Bulls would have two years to decide if Ball is part of the team’s future. I think they’d opt for 4 years of whoever the 7th pick ends up being. 

    Cle: This isn’t a terrible idea since the difference between the 5th and 7th pick this year is most likely a little bit of money. However, I don’t see Dunn being in their long term plans and he’ll be a RFA after the year is over. The money you’ll have to pay Dunn this year would most likely make up the difference in overall value between the contracts for the 5th and 7th pick. Cavs would probably just prefer to keep the pick rather than over-complicate things. 

    NO: Don’t think so. NOLA could probably get a better package from the Knicks or Boston. This hypothetical hual would be decent but lacks potential All-NBA talent which is what NOLA wants in return for Davis. NY can offer Barrett via the 3rd pick and Boston could potentially offer Tatum. If neither NY or Boston is willing to part with those assets and Davis still maintains his desire to leave, then LA could try it again. However, I think NOLA would prefer to play out the year with Davis rather than trade him for anything the Lakers could offer.

     Cavs say no as they have Sexton and Dunn can’t play SG full time..Think John wall that is who Dunn is sort of like..Sexton is also to short to play SG fulltime..That would also probably be a very average backcourt due to lack of shooting..

    Pelicans may say no due to health risks of Ingram-Who knows what he will be doing is he a chris bosh(medically retired) or ones that are never the same after it..

    Bulls are apparently high on Ball as they like his defense beside Lavines offense. Ball suits their young cores timeline and also is more interested in setting team mates up vs scoring 20 points with like 3-5 dimes..Which is what they believe they are missing. Also they aren’t fully sold on Dunn. Personally though he just had a bad run of injurys as he looked alright at start of current season…

    Lakers may also decide to target a Jimmy Butler/Klay if they are determined for this offseason and ride with their young core for right now for greater depth/future outlook..Or they could just wait until next offseason if they can somehow convince him to sign with them via back channels.. Me personallly not sure why they love A.D so much I think he will morph into essentially K-love(cavs) or Bosh(heatles) but with a little bit better defenese..
