MJBrownParticipantAs we know, nothing ever goes according to plan, at least our plan, on draft nite. We are still a month away, but nonetheless….
What the Lakers GM might say at 4: "After the top 3 picks, this draft is meh. Lebron is still at the top of his game and none of these guys are gonna help him. He’ll be gone one day so lets just pick the guy that has the best chance to be a star. If I’m wrong, oh well, I’ll try again next year. But at least I didn’t settle on medicority. So lets take Bol Bol."
What the Cleveland GM might say at 5: "I know everyone things I’m gonna take a wing to pair with Sexton. However, in today’s NBA of positionless basketball, I really want the most talented guy, and let Belein work his magic to get the most out of everyone. Coby White is a flat out better baller than Culver, Reddish, or Hunter. So lets put White and Sexton in the backcourt together, spread the floor, and see what happens."
What Atlanta’s GM might say at 8: "I don’t care about his attitude. He’s 18 years old. He’s gonna grow up one day and I just can’t pass up on the opportunity of pairing Kevin Porter with Tre Young. His game is ready for the NBA and I’m willing to invest in his talent."
What Charlotte’s GM might say at 12: "My team is so bad. I haven’t made a good pick since Kemba. The cupboard is bare. The talent in this draft is bare. Whoever I get at 12 could be as good as the player I get at 20. So let’s call Boston and see if I can snag a couple of their picks for this one — at the very least, 2 or 3 young guys is better than 1."

HobbyOGParticipantBold prediction..if Kawhi leaves Toronto KD will consider them….he said growing up his favorite team was the Raptors..those fans are crazy and KD could win over the whole country of Canada if he wins there..that would be the love he’s desiring to have..

OhCanada-ParticipantThis is almost certain to happen if the Raptors beat the Warriors in the finals.

Arc12345ParticipantIf we could snag Bol Bol and Porter Jr. it would be the happiest I’ve been on draft night in a long time.
We’ll end up with Jaxson Hayes and Nassir Little though and I’ll be disappointed yet again.

juves4783ParticipantNY GM says…"we lost the zion sweepstakes. RJ is nice but we don’t really need him with knox, dotson, trier and potentially durant. let’s call ATL GM and see if they are interested."
ATL GM says…"the lottery was not our friend. lots of question marks at 8 and 10…why not take the NY deal and get the top wing in the draft to pair with trae and collins."
ATL takes RJ at 3. NY takes sekou and bol.

The GoatParticipantBoston making a trade of their picks or current players is going to happen. They’ll have too many guaranteed contracts.
My bold prediction is AD signs the supermax just to get paid but asks to be traded again when he’s eligible.0 -

celtics1982ParticipantBoston trading 20 and 22 for 12 if the right player is there. The group is very similar though. That can make sense for both teams
Not sure I see the issue with contacts given the amount of free agents and an open roster space Boston has. Depends who they Draft though, players like NAW who could fill spots next year or long-term projects.
I trust Danny as long as he takes best player available and not stash guys like Yabu!

The GoatParticipantI’d really like to see Philly take Guy and Jerome with 33 and 34 and cut them loose in the second unit. Let them have the control they had in college and some spurts with Embiid. That’d be fun to watch. They need shooting and these two are in that range, so why not..?
