     I think he has emerged as a sleeper in this draft. 

    Originally before watching him play at UCLA I wasnt to high on him. Skinny center with no post game that blocks shots and rebounds. After his freshmen year I think he is a very good prospect. NBA centers nowadays are just rim runners offensively, teams dont even have a post presence. Defensively you dont have too many post presences either, teams expect their anchor to be mobile, switching on everything and weakside/help shot blockers. 

    Brown kinda reminds me of Tony Bradley, but he’s 7’3 while Bradley is 6’10. Theres gonna be a team that drafts him as a project intending to develop him into Rudy Gobert, the question is how high will he get drafted. I dont think he slips past the Golden State Warriors as they have Looney as a restricted FA, Cousins unrestricted this offseason and will likely move Bell and Jones in their two prominent center roles while looking for another to groom for when they are FA’s.

    How high do you think Moses Brown will go? Whats his draft range?

    I like him as a prospect. Near double-double production and great combine results. But with the number of solid center prospects in the draft, I don’t think he’s a first round pick. I’ve got Hayes, Bol, Fernando, Bitadze, Bassey, Reid, Kabengele and Gafford ahead of him. I think 32-45 is a solid range for him.

      Yeah. Right now I have those guys ahead of him as well but I have all of them in the 1st round the way its working out at the moment. He could go early 2nd as well but he has someone none of the other bigs (aside from Bol Bol) have which is insane measurements. Someone may gamble on him.

    Don’t see the Bradley comparison, Bradley had better foundamentals to start work with, Brown reminds me more of Lucas Nogueira as long energy big with no much skill set and suspect passion about the game, not see him as a first round pick…

     You say he’s a sleeper..I think he plays like he’s sleep…I say mid to late-2nd round..he only played great against the small schools last year. Confrence play started and he looked lost..he needs another year or two in college.

    Honestly, knowing that he was a top 20 high school player and that he measured well, how can you explain his poor stats, six of his last games with 7pts or less, 35% from the FT line, a black hole with just 0.3as per game. Even if his rebounding and blocks numbers are good, you expect that type of player to display more efficiency, consistency and, at the college level, to make you win games, which was not exactly the case.

    There are plenty of interesting centers in the draft with Bol, Hayes, Bassey, Bitadze, Gafford, Fernando or even Queeta and Reid who have proved so much more than Brown that I would never let one of them slip to take Brown.

    He’ll be better advised to go back to UCLA, work on his game and come back when he’ll be really ready.
